"We loved our time at this property and would definitely recommend others to visit during their time in Panama. Sure, the lodges are a little rustic in places but they are perfectly comfortable. The setting in the lake is beautiful, with a great pool, free kayaking facilities and places to completely switch off. I loved how calm and relaxing the place was. Most importantly, the staff are superb. Friendly, attentive and fantastic hosts. We felt well looked after here. The food on offer was great, and food & drinks reasonably priced. Top tip would be to make sure of the kayaking and boat trips. Definitely book the Monkey Island trip – we loved this trip and made the stay even more memorable."

"Review of Summit Rainforest & Golf Resort, Panama Overall, our experience at Summit Rainforest & Golf Resort in Panama was good, and the property itself is absolutely beautiful. The views are breathtaking, the grounds are peaceful, and we felt safe throughout our stay. There was a visible security presence, and we also saw police in and around the property, which added to our sense of comfort. My children enjoyed the pool, and we also enjoyed the butterfly tour, which was a lovely experience. However, we did experience some challenges at the beginning of our stay. Our first room had issues with the air conditioning, which would not stay on properly and seemed to cause a lot of condensation on the floor. We reported the issue, and although someone was sent to address it, the problem continued the following night. We also had difficulty getting assistance from the room because the telephone was not working, so we had to go downstairs to speak with the front desk directly. At one point, we were told that the issue may have been caused by the balcony door being opened, but we had not opened the balcony door at all. The hotel did offer to move us to another room, but when we viewed that room, we noticed what appeared to be a mold issue. Additionally, the closet light in that room would not turn off unless the breaker was turned off, which would have made it difficult to sleep in complete darkness. Because of those concerns, we"

"Such an amazing stay, from the house, to the surroundings and the owner. We used all the recommendations (Kamir is a great cook and wonderful person), went on a boat tour and enjoyed the Embera trip. It was our first time in the jungle and Gamboa was a great experience. Safe and friendly all around!"
