「My husband and I , along with our small cavoodle Tashi, enjoyed a relaxing getaway in April. The bush setting was a lovely contrast to our usual beach focussed experiences. 「We stayed for four nights and loved it. Ok, first the negatives, The steps inside are a real challenge for those with mobility issues, my knees were playing up, so I had to spend my time in the house in the bedroom because of those stairs, but we were out and about most of the time so it wasn't that big a deal but it would have been nice to spend more time in the lounge room with that fabulous view. 「We had problems on our first night as the heating in the house malfunctioned and we had to wear coats beanies and scales inside, the next day ( Sunday) Ellie drove from Apollo Bay to deliver two “bar heaters” and with the fire burning we finally managed to warm the house! Apart from this, the house was very comfortable and a joy to be in. Please note, proper doona covers on doonas would be a real plus instead of sheets being tucked over doona!
