"The hotel itself was great. Breakfast was great. The room was great. Check in was a nightmare due to a lady named carol. I booked the room for my daughter calling ahead of time. To make sure she can have a late check in because she was driving across texas for her.To be turned away by carol and was literally sleeping in the parking lot.When I called her to see if she was in her hotel at four a m. After a twenty minute argument on the phone with miss carroll, my daughter was able to get into the room that I had already paid for. I feel that it would have been seamless. Ifcarol wouldn't have made it so difficult. In the end, she was apologetic and i've got my daughter into her room, but it shouldn't have had me having to call at four o'clock in the morning and continue to argue with this woman until she allowed my daughter in the room.It was ridiculous behavior."

"The rooms are nasty and the room we had first got had stains on the walls and baby ants crawling everywhere on the carpet and beds the restroom was disgusting it had mold all over the walls I would suggest no one stays at this place it’s nothing like the pictures on the website "

"Check in is always great, We have our own transportation, we always go to this beautiful spot when we have time to. We enjoy being right on top of the water. Its definitely a hudden Gem in TX. We love the cabins and the owner's."

"I went for breakfast, but was to late. The person there generously gave me some bread so i could make toast. I had OJ, coffee and toast. I thought it was odd that the breakfast was put away already, it was only 8:00. When i got inmy car i realized the time. Coming from CALIFORNIA my phone never changed time. It was reading 2 hours earlier. How embarrassing "

"The cabin was on the creek and you could fish from the side deck. Otherwise the cabin was atrocious. The overall size has was 16 x 12'. Furnishings were very sparse. There was no place to set down your luggage, there were no bedside tables, there were only two hard wooden chairs. The shower had a regular plastic pan, but the walls were made of galvanized roofing steel. The bed was a high wooden platform and had no inner spring mattress. The main ceiling light was a bare bulb light operated with a dangling string. There were no clothes hangers only three hooks scattered across the walls. The front door dragged on the floor, so it was difficult to open it more than to foot or so. There was no TV and the Wi-Fi did not work. Even the hosts could not make the AC heater remote control work properly."

"No soap no shampoo in the bathroom no light above the sink room smells bad bed. She’s not clean."
