Downtown Bari

The room was nice and breakfast was to English liking. The room was close to all the Bari sites we wanted to see. Walking distance from grocery store or shops.

The fridge nor the hair dryer worked. Window in the bathroom has to be fixed. Humidity and mildew on the bathroom wall and the hall way to the bathroom, curtains dirty on the bottom from being so long no access to TV Channels,

a bit disappointing

It was a bit disappointing on the whole. There was no internet availability in our room (Rosso) at any point in our stay. The breakfast was disappointing; we asked for some milk but never received any and on the second morning we received no water or fruit juice. The lift was very small; barely big enough for 2 people with luggage.

Det var nøkkelskap på utsiden 1. Etg, men de var ikke nummerert. Fant ut at døra inn til rommet hadde kode så vi brukte den. Døra låste seg opp etter flere forsøk hver gang. Rommet har ikke luftemuligheter. Fin beliggenhet og fin frokost restaurant over gaten.

Code für Tür war nicht gesendet worden, Treppenhaus und Badezimmer stark verschimmelt, das sei ja bekannt, wir würden beim nächsten Besuch Rabatt bekommen! Es wird kein nächstes Mal geben, das nützt also gar nichts! Prinzipiell wäre der Raum toll und die Lage sehr günstig gewesen.

Una excelente opción para alojarse en Bari. De ingreso autónomo , envían los códigos de acceso el día del Check in . No tiene recepción 24 hs. Muy bien ubicado. Habitación muy linda, pero sin ventanas al exterior. Recomendable!

Tutto bene o quasi

Hotel in ottima posizione vicino alla città vecchia. La mia era una camera superior, con buoni spazi, copertura WiFi ottima, aria condizionata perfettamente funzionante, bagno tutto ok. Colazione buona e varia nel ristorante al lato, con personale sorridente e molto cordiale. Un'unica cosa ho trovato difficile: parlare con il personale. Il Gatto Bianco è un hotel senza reception, che mette a disposizione un numero per telefonate e chat WhatsApp. L'unica volta che ho cercato di contattarli è stato per anticipare leggermente il checkin (di 45 minuti). Richiedevo solo l'invio dei codici per le porte, o che mi chiamassero per dirmeli. Non ho mai ricevuto risposta, nemmeno negativa. Una reception remota irraggiungibile non è propriamente desiderabile se si pagano più di 150 euro a notte.

Un soggiorno molto breve ma, una bellissima esperienza, la struttura è ubicata in pieno centro, si possono raggiungere tranquillamente a piedi i posti di maggiore interesse, ma soprattutto camera pulitissima e profumata! Consiglio vivamente!

Esperienza deludente

La camera assegnataci era ubicata nel sottotetto, scomoda da raggiungere con i bagagli (2 rampe di scale), prima colazione quasi inesistente, e soprattutto abitata da colonie di formiche. Abbiamo comunque visto che nella stessa struttura vi sono camere decisamente migliori.

Das Gatto Bianco liegt sehr zentral und ist gut erreichbar. Unser Zimmer war recht spartanisch eingerichtet. In der Hotelbeschreibung hiess es „Frühstücksbuffet“, angeboten wurde im Zimmer jedoch folgendes: Eine kleine Kaffeemaschine und abgepackte Speisen und Getränke. Unter „Frühstücksbuffet“ verstehen wir etwas anderes.

Changement d’hôtel à la dernière minute !

Nous avons eu une expérience relativement désagréable avec cet hôtel. Ils nous ont contactés le matin de notre arrivée pour nous dire que finalement ils devaient nous changer d’établissement… Nous avions choisi un hôtel au plus près du centre historique de Bari et finalement, nous nous sommes retrouvés à 15 minutes à pieds plus loin. Quand je l’ai fait remarqué on m’a répondu que j’étais quand même dans le centre de la ville…. Ils ont tout de même compensé avec les petits déjeuners offerts et le parking 10€ moins cher (15€ au lieu de 25€ la journée). Le personnel de l’hôtel de remplacement a été adorable avec nous et les chambres étaient propres et agréables mais nous n’étions pas dans l’hôtel que nous avons réservé….

Betalte for morgenmad i prisen, men morgenmad som skulle indtages på værelset var UNDER ALT KRITIK. - kun en stol at sidde på til to mennesker - vakuumpakket langtidsholdbart brød, syltetøj, nutella, kiks samt espresso kaffe,te og en mini juice det har intet med morgenmad at gøre og værelset var ikke indrettet til dette Ellers et dejligt værelse, god beliggenhed men IKKE lydisoleret fra de andre værelser, hvor vi nemt kunne høre de andre gæster sæde rengørings personaler, men de kunne intet sprog udover deres eget, så det var en stor udfordring ifht til kommunikation ved de problemer som opstod

Close to train station yet quite pricey

It was difficult to check in as we had to predict a time of check in about 24 hours ahead. We then had to contact them 30 minutes ahead to have someone meet us and open the building. There is no front desk check in. There was confusion as to which apartment we were to have . Also the description was for two bedrooms but we only ended up with one bedroom. It was clean and there was nice snacks, coffee and water bottles. Our family was very tired so we felt place was comfortable enough. One window was broken and could not be fully closed so the air conditioning was leaving the room a bit. Over all, I would say it would have been a bit better if we had gotten both rooms instead of one, which made it feel over priced.
