Description of the apartment -
· Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment with a glass-enclosed balcony on the 5th floor of an 100-year-old Art Nouveau building, renovated outside and inside. The floors are still the original colorful mosaic, and the ceilings are 9 feet high. There is an elevator, air conditioning, central heating, and a full kitchen with granite countertop, pots & pans, dishes, etc. One full bathroom with toilet, sink, and half-tub with shower. The living room has a dining table and chairs, a sofa, a 21-inch TV, You can see the tips of La Sagrada Familia from the enclosed balcony.
The apartment fits one to four although an occupancy of three-maximum four would be the ideal for the size.

Location - The apartment is in the historical part of the Eixample area, at short distance and midway from the Sagrada Familia temple and Passeig de Gracia shopping.

Transportation - Near Verdaguer metro station (on yellow and blue lines) and several bus lines. Very easy to get to by taxi. A taxi lane runs in front of the apartment.

Equipment - SAFE in the master bedroom.
Private LAUNDRY ROOM inside the apartment with a washing machine and a dryer.
A/C and heating.
We supply LINENS and TOWELS, and a starter supply of soap and SHAMPOO and other essentials.

Noise levels - Façade windows have double glazing, but there can be some street (traffic) noise in the living area. The bedrooms have no traffic noise.

Check-in and check-out - The apartment will be ready for you at 16:00 for occupancy. Check-out time is 11:00am.
Reserved early check-in or late check-out for half the nightly rate, subject to availability.
There is no extra fee for nighttime check-in.
FREE LUGGAGE STORAGE SERVICE in our office when you arrive before check in or depart after check out time. We have our office in the building next door.

Great location.

It was close to everything. We walked everywhere. Tube station is also really close by. Lots of eating places around. The flat itself was clean and really cute! Perfect for the two of us.

Great location but loud

We had a wonderful time at this location. It was centrally located with tons of restaurants and cafes close by. The only problem was how loud it was. Which can be handled with ear plugs that are available at the cute little store across the street. Lilianna was great and the whole team was responsive. We would stay there again.

Great location/walk to Sargrada Familia Basilica

Barcelona is beautiful city and staying at this location made it so much easier to walk to many of the sights. The check in was seamless, the place was clean, it had a charming balcony to drink coffee and enjoy the beautiful view, as well as the nearby streets had plenty of restaurants to choose from. Our host Liliana answered all our questions and was extremely helpful. I highly recommend staying at this lovely VRBO. Gracias!

Three location was good. There were good restaurants and bars in the area. The online pictures show a bright living space. We found it darker than depicted although that did not affect the stay.

Wonderful Apartment Close to all Attractions

We stayed for 6 nights while in Barcelona. The apartment is in a secure building within walking distance to the major attractions in the city including Sagrada Familia, Casa Mila, Casa Batilla, Arch de Triumph, La Ramblas, El Born and many more. The apartment is on the 3rd floor with a peak view of the Sagrada Familia from the terrace. The kitchen is small but functional. The bathroom is very small. If you're tall the toilet and shower may be difficult to navigate! Comfortable and clean even though the building is well over 100 years old. We enjoyed the restaurants in the area and the night life that never seems to end. Very enjoyable first trip to Barcelona. Would stay here again if we are able to return.

Great location!

The location of this apartment is excellent if you want to walk to various sites (i.e. Sagrada Familia, Gaudi museums, Gracia area, Gothic area, etc). Everything that we wanted to see was within a 20 minute walk. Fantastic crepe restaurant beside the apartment building and several options for food markets within a couple of blocks. As mentioned in other reviews, our only issue was receiving check in information. I reached out the day before arrival as I hadn't heard anything. The owner did not respond to my message so I had to contact VRBO. We finally received the check in information at midnight. This caused a few hours of unnecessary stress to sort through. Apparently the owner was waiting for us to reach out with our arrival time. All other places we have rented, the owner initiates sending the check in information a couple of days prior to arrival, so this was a different process for us. If you book this place (which we do recommend), just make sure to connect with the owners a few days prior to arriving so you are prepared.

Pleasant apartment in great location

This apartment was much better than reviews here would have you think. It was clean, spacious, sunny, private, quiet, well located and had plenty of heat and hot water. Communication with the agent was quick via WhatsApp. A few things could have been a bit better: 1) the strange odor when entering the apartment. This was caused by an "air freshener" in the bathroom. We removed it and put it on the balcony. Air was fine from then on. 2) check in instructions arrived only the afternoon before our arrival. The wait caused a bit of anxiety, but once it came the instructions were clear and check in was easy. 3) heat was at first confusing. The radiators were not working but we finally figured out that the heating system is hot air and is controlled by a remote on the wall. Once we figured that out heating was more that fine. 4) it would have been nice to have the bath gel provided. We had to go out and buy our own. 5) the main bed is really two single beds moved together.At times they moved a bit apart and had to be moved together. 6) the toilet is close agains the wall, so if you are tall this might be a bit uncomfortable. We managed fine. But these are relatively minor quibbles. The apartment is a relatively good value for the money. We felt pretty comfortable there.

Conveniently located close to La Sagrada Familia in a nice neighborhood. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Relatively quiet and secure. Lilliana was very responsive when I managed to lock myself out of the safe.

This spot is in an amazing location. The inside could use some renovations and the bathroom is small, but we had a good stay. The balconies are beautiful as well. Overall, I would recommend this spot.

Beautiful neighborhood...Barcelona is stunning and easy to get around in using public transpirtation that is all around...Host could not have been better...One tiny suggestion...The electricaloutlet near the bed allowed only one plug in which meant we had to choose between bedside light or charging our phones..i think that is easily fixed...

Great stay

The location is amazing and the host was very helpful and answered any of my questions, before, during and after. Check in was great since we got off our cruise ship and she allowed us to leave our bags in the office, this was a huge benefit. Very good communicator.

We had a very nice stay here with our two year old. Liliana provided a crib and high chair and allowed us to check in early. The second bedroom was nice and dark and my son slept great. The bathroom is very small. A large person would have a hard time sitting on toilet. There were some issues with hot water while showering. All in all great stay, wonderful location. Would stay again!
