"The Crane is a lovely hotel with a long history. The hotel staff are friendly and very accommodating. The hotel has a few nice restaurants nearby but most attractions or city visits require a taxi ride. The concierge can make restaurant reservations and taxi requests for you but look online to book most excursions and if you can book transport with the tour companies. There are a number of good restaurants at the crane - zen and Poesia #3 are in my opinion the best while the village cafe has great coffee, desserts and ice cream. An on/site boutique grocery store allows for small meal prep in your room and is affordable. Lots of entertainers around providing music and laughs and there are also a number of vendors and stores for souvenirs. The pools are great and not crowded and if the seaweed is an issue at the beach (it was for us) the hotel provides easy transportation to another property in town for those wishing to do so. The weather is great down here and I’d head back in a heartbeat! "

"The house was the perfect size and location for four adults. We had amazing views from the deck; ate dinner out there almost every night. Dave; our host could not have been any better. He was there if we needed anything even escorted us to house from airport so we wouldn’t get lost. This house is perfect location; quiet area but close enough to everything you want to see. Turtles popping up in front of house every day. Loved it "
