Sea Glass Cottage- New, Peaceful, Path to Beach

  • This brand new 1 bedroom cottage is on the Wagon Wheel Farm property. The cottage was built in 2022 with a focus on detail. It is centrally located on MDI and just minutes away from Acadia. The private deck overlooks a beautiful field with lots of wildlife, and outdoor exploring area. There is a private wooded trail to walk to Hadley Point Beach (about a 15 min walk). This is the perfect place to relax after you explore Acadia and Bar Harbor.

    Sea Glass is a 340 sq ft cottage adjacent to the Wagon Wheel Farm House. It was built with privacy and attention to detail in mind, while maximizing efficiency and space. There is a heat pump for heating and cooling, brand new kitchen and bath, stainless steel appliances, and a queen bed and twin bunk beds in the bedroom. This is a perfect place to relax in a new modern cottage with meadow views while you explore MDI.

    This is a wonderful neighborhood. Hadley Point Beach is just around the corner. You can walk the trail to the beach or drive. You can have a fire at the beach and watch the sunset. You can also walk/run/bike at Bay View Drive nearby. There are several local eateries nearby as well.

    Guests can park one vehicle in the driveway in the designated area.
    Quiet Hours: 10pm - 8am to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.

    Trash/Recycling: Please place all trash in sealed bags and dispose in dumpster. Bottles/Cans are recycled and can be put in the recycling containers next to the dumpster.

    Bathrooms: Please do not flush ANYTHING except toilet paper. Hygiene products, wipes, dental floss and diapers should be placed in the garbage.

    BBQ Grill: There is a propane grill. Please clean the grill after each use and put the cover back on after it has cooled.

    Fire Pit: There is a community fire pit located by the office. Compliementary wood is provided along with fire starting supplies.

    Lobsters: Please do NOT cook lobsters inside any house. We will provide you an outdoor cooker, pot and all the supplies you`ll need to cook lobsters. Just let us know and we`ll drop off the supplies for you.

This small cottage was very clean and well stocked with dishes and amenities needed to cook meals. The beds were very comfortable! Family had a great time and property was very close to Acadia National Park.

Very cute small bungalow. Beautifully updated with one bedroom. Great full kitchen. Washer and dryer was a great help while on vacation. Living room is a bit too small but there is a spacious deck with tables and chairs off the front entry. Great for a small family!

This cottage was perfect for us! I can think of nothing that I would change! For a couple on vacation this was the perfect cozy spot! Everything was clean, new, and organized! The property also was beautiful with a lovely trail and close access to the beach! It was really close to everything in the national park nothing was more than 25 min away! This will be our spot whenever we come back and our recommendation to anyone we know vacationing in Acadia!
