「I think my communication issues may have been on the Expedia side of things and have little to do with the host. I had a hard time navigating to leave a message and the only messages I received were sent in February, months before my May attempts to communicate. The messages I did read from Feb were hard to access and appeared in faded gray color font with copy and paste nearly unreachable as printing was off the screen of my iPhone.
Note to host would be to have an extra roll of TP and...

「I can see how this property would be nice for a family.We had a small room, and it was very small.Not what I had expected, but it was clean and neat.And I loved the downstairs area where they offered snacks.And things like s'more kits for the kids and coffee and water and everything. We had been traveling all day and it was great to grab the water and a granola bar on the way up.」

「We had a very enjoyable time. The hosts were excellent and responded to our requests quickly in text. We kicked off a fire in the pit,quiet, and place was very clean. The reason for the 4 stars is it is definitely an older property (1950s) and the beds were super firm. We plan to go again but try the individual canins. we found the beds super firm. 「Hosts easy to deal with. Place was neat and as promised. Nice place as a base to visit this part of Maine. Did Acadia NP, Whale watch, toured a couple Lighthouse spots, Did Bangor Steven King tour, and Upstate Moosehead Lake with a short walk on the AT. All easy drives from the rental. 」
