Plenty of room for all the kids!! Location was close enough to town to get things but quiet :-). We did forget our soccer ball and net but that is on us lol. Enjoyed our stay!! Kitchen was well stocked with all types of cookware which was lovely!!

Amazing cabin and great location

This cabin it’s amazing! The location just 7 min to banner elk downtown and 10 minutes to sugar mountain.

Family Trip

The house is beautiful and decorated very nicely. Very well equipped kitchen. Room for everyone to spread out and also to spend time together. It was a trip for my parents 60th anniversary and they have said again and again how much they loved it.

This property is extremely spacious and accommodating for large groups although we did have some issues with cleanliness around the house most specifically with the plates and silverware, otherwise the stay was very peaceful. What was extremely disappointing was the property management.

Wonderful house especially for big family!

Beautiful,spacious house with a fabulous kitchen. Wonderful for a large group as we had 13. The kids loved the game room and everyone enjoyed the fire pit. Great porches and parking. Highly recommend this house. We will return!

Great yard for children to play in. Grassy slope behind house is where they spent the most time. Very convenient to Banner Elk. Vineyard nearby. Plenty of room inside for large group. Lots of wildlife to sit and watch.

This home is absolutely perfect. My group loved everything about it. The rooms are perfect, the downstairs was a dream for the kids and the location was good. It was super clean, which i really appreciated. There is a sweet husky that may come around!! Dealing with Vacasa was less than fun and I don’t appreciate that the listing is not quite accurate for the sleeping arrangements. It says there are two sofa beds. It’s extra annoying because, I messaged Vacasa and was told that the house did have them. It put me in a bit of a bind for the kids sleeping arrangements. It takes just a couple minutes to update that there are no longer sofa beds on the property. Overall the home is wonderful and I would definitely recommended staying there with your group.

Beautiful home

This was a wonderful home for a two family vacation! The location was beautiful and everything about it seemed to be almost perfect for our needs. We had some minor unresolved issues with Vacasa but would definitely want to stay here again. If you have 16 people the description we saw says that it sleeps 16 but their apparently is now no futon or hideaway bed as described before. It now has sleeping for fourteen, as long as two people don’t mind sleeping in a double bed.

Daughter’s Wedding Weekend

We had a fantastic stay at this spacious house, perfect for our large family group! It was very clean and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool table, jacuzzi, and foosball added a lot of fun to our time together. We gave the newlyweds the king suite with the amazing bathroom and I was jealous! The wraparound porch was fantastic and I love the back yard view. I noted some sleds and an amazing sledding hill, so we’d love to return for a winter trip! Vacasa was a pleasure to work with, quickly addressing a few minor issues (our pet sitting accidentally locked us out and we had a power outage in the area and they quickly came out to make sure it wasn’t a house issue and looked into the eta on restoration). Highly recommend for a large group looking for a great place to stay! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Everything was really beautiful. My only issue was there were a few things that didn’t work. When I reached out it seemed like the manager would send someone out but never did. And also I would suggest a little more directions about tv, lol trash etc. otherwise a beautiful home with wonderful amenities

Reunion

The house was clean. However there were no paper products-toilet tissue, paper towels, napkins. There was a bowl for “complementary dishwasher detergent” but was empty. This would have been ok if we had known in advance. It would have also been better if the property management had responded as they had promised.

Fulfilling a husband's/father's bucket list after his passing

The drive to the venue was beautiful, the venue was clean, spacious, and decorated to fulfill our needs for a wonderful Christmas. Overall the condition of the home was very good, but due to having 2 family members with back issues, a couple of things came to mind as helpful additions. The bathroom next to the main floor bedroom needs to have some handrails to help a person get in and out of the bathtub/shower safely. Or perhaps the tub unit should be replaced with a walk-in shower. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and appliances, and there were plenty of settings of china and silverware. The grandchildren loved the downstairs and claimed it for their own space which gave the adults in the party to have their time. Unfortunately, it rained over half of our stay, so other that taking some walks and a bit of amateur skiing, venturing out of the house was at a minimum. We do thank you for helping us fulfill one of my husband's last wishes in such a wonderful place.

Beyond Expectations

We loved our weekend stay at Stoneybrook Lodge. The location was great—easy access to ski areas and hiking, plus a huge yard for outdoor activities. The home itself was beyond expectations. It’s well furnished, comfortable, there’s plenty of space for large families. Not only can you spread out your activities in the many living areas, but for those who want the cozy togetherness experience you can have it here too. We loved the soaking tub and heated floor in the master bathroom, having a wine fridge, and the many touches of Christmas throughout the house. We will definitely stay here again.

The house is great, enough bathrooms bedrooms on 3 levels. Wrap around deck, with lot of space for kids to play outside.
