Quiet, walk to the stadiums, harbor, rooftop deck

  • Summary:

Centrally located on the inner harbor in a quiet historic neighborhood this updated historic home can be your base of operations for a sports weekend or see the sights around Baltimore's inner harbor or downtown. Walking distance from both Orioles and Ravens stadiums, along with the inner harbor, Science Center, Convention Center, Pier 6 Pavilion, National Aquarium along with the bustling neighborhood of Federal Hill. The street is very calm and quiet giving you a relaxing home to escape to.

    The Space:

This row home is on the historic register of places and maintains many of the original 130 year old details including fireplaces, original wood flooring, narrow staircases, brick walls and handmade glass windows, there are a lot of steps in this home and passageways can be narrow.

    Other Things to Note:

Parking is via permit on the street with one parking pass provided for your stay. If the parking pass is not returned any charges incurred due to it's loss will be charged to the guest.

I have a HEPA air filtering and monitoring system running in the unit at all times to ensure air quality for guests.

This is 130 year old home and the staircases are narrow as they were kept original. There are two staircases in this stay. The staircases do have a few winder (wedge shaped) stairs.

The host was very accommodating, and the house was clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. The location was excellent, in a fantastic neighborhood right next to Federal Hill, making it easy to walk to restaurants and attractions. The only thing that would have been helpful to know ahead of time is that the home has two bedrooms rather than three. The third sleeping area is actually a futon in the upstairs hallway at the top of the stairs, which my son used. It is located on the way to the bathroom from the second bedroom, so it doesn't offer the privacy of a third bedroom.

The house is within walking distance to all attractions and wonderful restaurants in a beautiful historic neighborhood. It’s recently been remodeled and was the perfect size for a family of 5. The Host was very responsive to any questions we had. Checking in and out was a breeze. The next time we travel to Baltimore my family and I will be staying here again!
