Though we met kind strangers and viewed indescribable beauty in our travels around Ireland, the isolated, quiet and luxury of the Connemara Sands was a balm for our souls and a treat to the senses. The menu was thoughtful and the food first class; the accommodations were roomy and tasteful with views of the Connemara landscape and sheep roaming cliffside. A special thank you to staff member, Marion who was there every morning to greet us with a cheery smile , recommendations and true Irish hospitality. We will return to this beautiful haven."
