This beautiful family home is situated on the much sought after Milkwood Drive. The views from the house are stunning. One can often see whales, dolphins playing in the waves from the top floor and for that matter any floor. A delightful sight. Come and enjoy your stay. Be sure to look for our specials. Milkwood has a solar backup system, which powers the entire bottom of the house, including oven , wifi on the bottom floor, lights inside, as well as garden lights.
The space
This once a family home is situated in Milkwood Drive, not far from the valley of the pools and the beach.
Sleeps 10, 4 bedrooms, included in the 4 bedrooms is a guest apartment with kitchenette and separate entrance.
The top floor used to be a man cave, now used as a separate room included office and bar area. This has a king size bed. There is a jacuzzi out on the patio which can only be used with full paying guests. It is also forbidden for children to play up there without supervision of parents. It is out of bounds during our summer and winter special offers. Please be aware that there are water restrictions in SA from time to time. Towels will be washed every 3 days or when requested if required while the water shortages are in place.
The second floor houses the bedrooms and the TV room, as well and guest en-suite bathrooms. All rooms have sea views or partial sea views. A steam room is included in the main en-suite as well as an outdoor shower. The guest room has a separate entrance.
All rooms are fully air-conditioned.

Guests have access to the Resort, via 2 gated entrances. North and South. Guests will be checked in at either of these gates and will need to proceed to the Welcome Centre of Zimbali Estate. The security will be expecting any guests that have booked in to our properties. The Welcome Centre will hand guests their property keys, a set of rules for the eco estate and a map of the estate. They will also guide guests on how to proceed to the accommodations booked.
All relevant forms for entry into the Eco Estate need to be filled in and submitted to us prior to arrival or guests will not be admitted. There is a cleaning lady available daily who lives on the premises.
A golf cart is available for hire.


Guests will communicate with June our assistant who will guide them on how to proceed from the time they book with us to the arrival in South Africa to Zimbali Eco Resort, Ballito.

Zimbali Coastal Resort is a place with miles of deserted beaches, warm Indian Ocean and the lush coastal vegetation. Guests can observe schools of dolphins frolicking in the waves and whale sharks cruising lazily by. A place to enjoy bird watching and encounter many other species of birds, and indigenous wild life with blue duiker and families of bushbuck wandering around the estate.
The features inside this resort are - play golf on the private championship signature five-star golf course. Dine at any one of nine restaurants. A spa for relaxation is available at the hotel. There are a collection of beach view rim flow pools at 'Valley of the Pools" as well as Bush Buck Pools.

The surrounding areas have shopping centers where clients can purchase groceries and clothing, as well as the Gateway Theatre of Shopping. This centre has a theatre, many cinemas as well as restaurants galore. Books, clothing Amusement centre for the children and lots more.

There are car hire companies where guests can hire cars from the airport. Alternatively a taxi service can be used. Taxi service can be arranged by the management for our clients. Please enquire.

Zimbali is an eco estate and in order to keep it that way as well as keep our clients safe, a set of rules will be forwarded to the guests upon booking. These rules need to be adhered to at all times.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the Valley of the Pools, situated opposite the beach. A well stocked restaurant and 3 beautiful pools one heated. There are also walking trails. The bird life is prolific in this area, especially in the morning and evenings.
Other things to note
Zimbali is an eco estate and therefore it has a set of rules which has to be adhered to. Clients will be supplied with a set of rules upon arrival as well as a map of the estate. Please make sure you read through them. Fines are imposed on people not adhering to these rules. ie there is a speed limit on the estate, as bush buck have been run over due to speeding motorists. Security is very strict. We wish to keep our guests safe and estate safe from any unnecessary concerns therefore please adhere to the rules at all times while in the estate.
We have a minimum stay of 2 nights.
