overall the facility was nice but the location was not easy to find, and the parking situation was not ideal for the $40 dollars we paid either They definitely need more staff, had to wait for someone to open the parking garage that was across the street. The front reception was the only one available to open it so she couldn’t do check-in/ check out and walk across the street to open the parking garage for each person. A lot of time waiting around

We have stayed in both rooms and suites at The Palace numerous times and have had great experiences. However, there were housekeeping issues (our room was never served one day, though we requested it three times throughout the day!), and the staff was quite indifferent to that situation, and every question or request. Not sure what has caused this unfortunate change.

"Finca Ometepe is tucked up against the Volcano Madera about 2km past the town of Balgue. They have many fruit trees, fresh eggs, and even homemade goat cheese when we stayed there. The casita kitchen is well equipped. We were warmly welcomed and really enjoyed our stay here."
