"We had to change rooms to a smaller cheaper room as the one we were given had a shower which wouldn’t turn off and was leaking. Whilst it was good they could move us we were not offered any kind of recompense for us having to move to a smaller cheaper room, after we had paid extra for the one we booked! Even a free drink or breakfast would have been accepted but nothing …. Which was a shame!"

"Lovely large property for a group of family and friends. Located near to Bala lake, it was perfect for exploring the local area where the scenery is truly stunning. The house is well equipped, and we had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Check in and check out process was very straightforward - we would definitely recommend and are highly likely to return!"

"Great value stop over when travelling north through Wales. We were looking for a family room for one night and could see that it was a busy weekend with very little availability across north Wales. Plas Coch was available, great price and decent big room for the three of us. Ok, so it could do with a lick of paint and a polish in a few places but it was clean, well situated and the staff were helpful in helping us park. Perfect for our needs, thank you."

"We had a lovely stay it was very clean and everything you needed apart from a gas cooker. Beatrice was lovely and very welcoming the only thing we was a little uncomfortable with was we felt we was living with her as she was next door and her balcony was right next to ours. It was more a guest room than an apartment with her being next to us. We couldn't relax thinking tv might be to loud, or music not that we have it on loud but we was still worried. Also could do with sweeping brush and hoover so you can keep on top of floors whilst there and we didn't want to mither as we was there for 5 days. Apart from that we loved being able to just walk down to the water with our morning coffee in our pyjamas so relaxing, just in the room could of done with abit more privacy for us anyway. I do recommend if you don't really watch TV or listen to music and maybe not a young couple."

"Very high spec and spotless. A beautiful cottage, massive fridge freezer which is always a good bonus! All mod cons with dishwasher and washing machine etc. Also a lovely outdoor area for BBQ and eating. Views to die for and other than sheep, no passing traffic."

"Second time we've stayed here and won't be out last. Plenty of space with large kitchen and living area, comfy beds and lovely little touches like biscuits, milk, coffee pods for the Nespresso machine and even a bottle of wine in the fridge. Perfect spot for Bala and exploring the surrounding area. Definitely recommended"
