「This was perfect for our trip. It was close to everything and plenty of room for the three of us. Sara and Marvin were great to work with and Sara even left muffins as a welcome which were delicious! I would definitely recommend and should we be back in Johnson City I will be booking here. 」

「The creek is amazing. Deep enough to wade into. Location is convenient to Banner Elk (you have to try the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster!!) and Boone (have to try Coyote Kitchen and Stick Boy!) While you're at it head up Beech Mountain in the summer and ride the chair lift to the top (there's a bar up there) and watch the mountain bikers ride down the mountain. House was convenient to all of this! Can't wait to return. Oh yeah, the homemade sour dough bread and jam are a welcome surprise. 」

「We left upstate SC that was over 100 degrees and have had no rain in weeks! What a sweet escape to 75 degrees and light rain with intermittent sunshine! House was lovely and had great outdoor spaces. 」

「This house is small but spacious. Perfect for four people to stay in. It was clean and we loved the decor and feel of the place. Super cute! The porch was huge with a table you could eat at. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. The second bedroom was detached from the main house but it worked fine for us. The amenities in the community were great. We were there for the 4th of July and there were so many activities planned for kids and adults. The pool and lake are not within walking...

「My partner and I had a wonderful time staying at the Fox Den to celebrate our anniversary. The location is conveniently 20 minutes from the nearest town, but just far enough away that it feels very remote. As of July 2025, many of the main parks in the area are still recovering from Hurricane Helene damage, but that didn't stop us from finding open places to explore, as the Fox Den is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The home is already equipped with basic necessities such as paper towels,...

「Stayed for several weeks and ended up extending our stay at this rental. The cottage wasnt far from town and had an amazing view of the mountains. It was the perfect tiny house stay! The host answered all of our questions quickly and had great communication with us while we stayed. I would highly recommend booking the cottage or with this host.」
