Apartment 'Aixpress' with Mountain View, Shared Terrace and Wi-Fi

It is a very cozy attic studio with walls up to six meters high, a large window area with a view of the forest and an additional sleeping maisonette accessible via a ladder. The 43 sqm apartment is located in a quiet, well-kept apartment building on a hillside in the most sought-after residential area of Bad Herrenalb - with a view of the Dobeltal valley. Forest hiking trails, for example to the deer enclosure, start virtually on the doorstep.

Public transport is also available for guests without their own car. The bus stop (coming from Calw/Wildbad) to the train station, to the town center and to the transfer line to Baden-Baden is about 200 meters away.

The furnishings with a cozy couch and reading chair, a dining table, partquet and a custom-made high wall unit correspond to a junior suite in a very good hotel - but are not even offered at the price of a Motel One...

The apartment's queen-size bed makes it ideal for two people who can sleep comfortably together. If you want some distance at night, or even rent the apartment for three, there is also a full-size 1x2m bed upstairs in a maisonette accessible via a ladder. However, due to the height and the ladder, this cozy sleeping alcove is not suitable for people with physical disabilities.

A large Amazon TV screen (with apps for Amazon Prime and Netflix etc.), a stereo system with the option of playing your own CDs and, of course, WiFi ensure media connectivity and entertainment.

The balcony with dining table is the ideal place for breakfast. For coffee junkies, there is a classic Melitta machine and one for Nespresso capsules. A small kitchen awaits guests, but it has everything they need to make them independent of restaurant visits. The clean white tiled bathroom has a shower.

Behind the house there is also an overgrown hillside garden if you are looking for a place for your own sun lounger.

On the first floor of the house we also offer a heated swimming pool and a small dry sauna for our vacation guests. As this area is not supervised, it is necessary for you to sign a waiver of liability before using it. The sauna is operated with coins.

We must point out that the state of BaWü may restrict the operation of private indoor pools again due to energy-saving regulations. However, we would inform you in advance if this should be the case at the time of your stay.

Please understand that we do not consider this studio to be suitable for dogs and lively children.

The on-site manager, who lives directly across the street, will be happy to take care of your questions and requests; naturally also in English. Please pay the obligatory visitor's tax in Bad Herrenalb in cash on site. The guest card is also a ticket for public transportation in almost the entire northern Black Forest. One more reason to give your car a break.
