Clean and Fairly Decent

This place is located near the outskirts of Bacolod city proper. It's very clean and the place seems to be well-maintained although one can see that the decor needs some updating. My only source of discomfort during my stay here is that somebody keeps running up and down the staircase in the early hours of the morning. Whether this is a staff member or not, is it possible to remind people to use the lift instead so as to minimize disturbing other guests, please?

overpriced for the room and hotel category

The hotel really need some renovations and upgrade's and more info to the guest. The two room categories should inform that some rooms face the busy and noisy street and the other one the pool side. The faucets in the bathroom "just do their job". The mattress of the double bed keep you like a "?" overnight. The aircon doesn't fit the large room. Wifi problems very common in the Philippines. Garden and pool well maintained. Tip for the restaurant: less cooking oil please. Verdict: it's overpriced for the room.

A very sad experience

This hotel is old. Everything inside is old. The furniture is very old and all scratched. The walls may have been repainted but a very very poor job. We were in a room with the most disgusting looking fridge - in my opinion, the room would have been better off without the fridge. The shower could not warm up at all. I could not fault the staff. They were all very nice and helpful. I booked for 6 nights but I had to leave and find another hotel the next day.

Never like when people list the good and end with the bad. So I'll do the opposite by listing the bad first. The problem I had with this place was the bugs. Make sure you don't leave any food or drinks out otherwise the bugs will come out. The towels and sheets were dated and could get renewed. The good things I liked was the pool was large and clean, the food here was good, and the service and staff was pleasant and helpful. Overall would stay again.

Comfortable and clean hotel.

The front desk staff were totally amazing. Checking in and checking out was effortless. The restaurant menu was pretty basic but the service was good. The deluxe room was spacious and clean, although there was no hot water the entire stay. It's located within walking distance to many shops and stores with the police station directly across the street from the hotel.

Nice older place

This older hotel saw its prime in the Marcos era, and one can see the former grandeur in the extensive use of marble. I particularly liked the nightlight built into the headboard of the bed. All primary courtesy met: hot water, connected internet, clean bedding and towels, bedside tables, clean aircon filter, absorbant towels. Responsive staff, easy taxi service.

Great hotel with excellent staff...

Great hotel for the money spent. Large room, good bed and a large pool. Service at the hotel is fantastic . All the employees were friendly and service minded. Will definitely stay at this hotel when I will be visiting Bacolod next time.
