"The one reason to stay here is it is walkable to the Catalina island boat landing if you are planning a day trip there (which is why I rated it a 2 rather than a 1) The hotel itself is very run down and poorly maintained. For example, the elevator inspection is expired, the breakfast is mostly stale and the walls in the shower were coming apart. "

The scrambled eggs were overrun with water, the turkey sausage was somewhat chewy, and the potatoes lacked freshness. Additionally, pastries were not offered, and the bread and bagels had visible mold. The selection of cereals was also limited. Due to the quality of the food, I chose to dine at RJ Cafe nearby."

Not enough furniture not enough chairs make up stains on the towels just a really substandard amateur job trying to own an operate. A hotel should be listed from your website not you should do it an on-site inspection. "

"We had a great stay -- loved the ocean views, and everyone in our party loved the house. The house itself was exceptionally clean. The only problems we had were the extremely spotty internet connection (ended up on cellular most of the time) and very inadequate heating (we were there in February) of the master suite on the lower level."
