Relax in this cozy cottage in Avon with 2 bedrooms, including a king bed on the main level and 2 full beds upstairs. There are 2 full bathrooms as well. One bath is inside with a shower/tub/double sinks, and one is uniquely set outside to enjoy the ocean breezes. Everything is brand new, including the custom built home itself! Enjoy the convenience of linens provided with beds that are already perfectly made when you arrive for your stay. A cleaning service is also included at the end of the week to make checkout easy. Relax in the serene atmosphere with an expansive front porch complete with adirondack chairs. Watch the glow of the Hatteras Light House from the round window in the living room. Walk just one block (only 10 homes away) to the pristine beach or Avon Pier. A fresh seafood shop is located at the end of the street so you can stock up on delicious carolina shrimp, scallops, fish and more. Our delightful custom space will help you feel at home while you're visiting the world class beaches, fishing, surfing, or kiteboarding on Hatteras Island.

The property was clean and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay very much. The host was very nice to let us know we could check in earlier than expected. However, we were disappointed that it was advertised as close to the water. Unforunately the ocean was at least 4 blocks away. We wanted to stay near the water so we were disappointed that it wasn't anywhere near the water. Everything else was very nice. We didn't realize the second bathroom was outside either!

We really enjoyed our time in this place. New and beautiful. Beds were comfortable. It had everything we needed including shampoo, body wash, dryer sheets, dish soap, and dishwasher detergent. The beach was just a short walk away and wasn’t too crowded. The restaurant nearby (Oceanas) was just a 2 minute walk and had tasty seafood. We highly recommend stopping by The Lost Colony museum and talking to Scott Dawson. We also enjoyed the Graveyard of the Atlantic museum and the Wright Brothers National Monument although they are a bit of a drive.

Much needed quiet

Brand new. Extremely quiet neighborhood. Naps were long and refreshing. Beach access at the end of the street with no one setting up within 50 feet of you. Also beaches within 5 minute drives in either direction. Again, felt like we had the beach to ourselves. Jen was an immediate return message away,although, we had no need because everything's brand new. Outdoor shower was game changing.The fish monger, which was a 3 minute walk away, was absolutely ideal. Try the crab cakes. Would, most definitely, stay here again.

Perfect Getaway Spot

This was the most charming, well decorated and clean rental. It was just my husband and I but it would have fit a few more if necessary! Everything is brand new and it even had an outdoor shower/bathroom. The owners checked in with us and responded to our emails immediately! We will be definitely be staying here again!
