This is the Millau bridge which we cross when we drive down to Spain and the Languedoc via the A75 in southern France. Opened in 2004 it was designed by British architect Norman Foster and French structural engineer Michel Virlogeux in an epic Anglo-French collaboration. Crossing the Gorge du  Tarn It is the world's TALLEST  bridge (343m or 1,125 ft) and it is worth stopping at the visitor centre to marvel at ! #Ontheroad #bridges
