Sorry everyone else, but there's been a rash of dishonest renters and I can lose my rental permit. Now the good part :)
This condo is in the Most Exclusive Hamilton Cove Complex. With a 180 degree Ocean View overlooking Hamilton Cove pix can't show the crystalline blue waters. Condo is 1bedroom,1bath with double sinks in the bathroom. Kitchen is Fully stocked for all of your cooking needs. The bedroom has a cozy, California King and is ultra comfortable with high thread count linens! The livingroom has a Eurolounger, a foldout sofa perfect for 1 adult, or 2 small children. A Thick sofa mattress is also available if needed. This Condo has Air Conditioning( portable) Only 2 others in Ham Cove do. We have ceiling fans and floor fans as well. At the private,secure Ham Cove villas, you'll feel the comforts of home and you get to use the Golf Cart!!! A huge bonus that offsets some expense of renting one($60/hr in town).And the Kitchen allows you to make your own meals if you choose and makes staying here more enjoyable and affordable in relation to a hotel. You make what you wish of this vacation spot. Relax in the serenity of true beauty or get out,dine, use the Fitness gym, mini golf(putters and balls in condo), play tennis, swim in the pool, take a power walk around the hills or head down to the ocean for all that has to offer. Jump in the cart(or even a short walk) to Descanso Beach for kayaking, SUP, Spa services and Zipline!!! Great bar/restaurant there too!!!
Caution....With management companies, communication is lacking. When in need, they're hard to contact. With us, you'll have my personal cell, and my assistant's #. We realize, things happen, questions come up...we are here for you. Also, we have a streamlined Checkin process. You go straight to the condo, contactless. No huge quantities of papers to sign. No meeting in town like the management cos.
You are required to have a Valid Driver's license and proper Car Insurance to drive the golfcart as That is Avalon Law.

ALSO, if more than 4 guests, Forfeiture of Deposit too. Refuel Golfcart or $100 fine. 21 yrs minimum GC driver or Forfeit deposit

Amazing experience

Couldn’t have a better place to stay the golf cart is the best thing to experience all of the island and the resort is amazing and you really don’t need to leave. The putt putt golf course tennis and pool/jacuzzi are awesome. Best experience we’ve had for any vacation

Relaxing condo, gorgeous views

Really lovely location with great ocean views. The condo had everything one could need. We appreciated the use of the golf cart to get around and the beach towels. We ate out for lunch and dinner, but the kitchen looked fully stocked for those who like to cook. Resting with a good book and cool ocean breezes was delightful. The owner was friendly and very responsive to questions. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

Excellent Getaway for Family of Four

The views are enchanting from the moment you arrive. The owner was beyond helpful and I would highly recommend this property. My husband and I slept comfortably on the king mattress and our boys enjoyed the futon. The golfcart was a perk for us getting around town.

Great property - loved the pool / jacuzzi/ put out mini golf / ocean access / beautiful views. Close to ropes course which our kids loved. Town of Avalon is amazing & has tons of great restaurants/ shops. Definitely recommend visiting the island & staying in Hamilton cove!

A perfect island retreat

I stayed here with my 11 year old daughter. It was wonderful and very family friendly. We cooked dinner at home and really enjoyed hanging out on the balcony. Avalon was a perfect place for us and we enjoyed the ropes course, mini golf, and of course the arcade. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful view! Adequate accommodations and delightful balcony overlooking the ocean. A bit hard on the knees due to walking several flights of stairs to get in and out of the condo. Great for people with good knees. We had a fantastic time. Thank you 😊

Beautiful views

The place was clean with gorgeous views. The place had everything you could need including tennis rackets and putter for the 18 hole putting course. Having the golf cart is very convenient and allowed us to see the whole island. The host was super helpful and nice. We will definitely come back.

Would stay again!

My partner and I had an amazing time at Hamilton Cove. Our place was a perfect size and had an incredible view. The AC unit was a big help too! My uncle was staying at Mt Ada and didn’t even have that so it was a huge addition! Only issue we had was finding the gas tank for the golf cart but luckily someone was nice enough to help us! Overall I would 100% stay here again.

Relaxing Stay

We had a great time. The place was clean and well-situated. Property manager was communicative. It was easy to reach him. Probably the best part of the stay was how quiet it was. We have stayed in Avalon a number of times and there is always city noise. Hamilton Cove and this unit were peaceful and relaxing. We appreciated the stay and how well the place was stocked.

Beautiful view

You can not beat the location of this property! Absolutely breath taking views! However, this rental is in desperate cleaning and a makeover. Although being pretty disappointed on the initial walk in, we didn’t let it ruin our trip. Wouldn’t return to this particular rental in Hamilton Cove due to the out dated decor, broken furniture and cleanliness.

Great location! Great view!

We came for a long weekend of relaxation. Comfortable bed. Full kitchen. Dining table. Grill. Shared balcony. Ocean views from bedroom and den. The sunrises were spectacular! There are steps down from the street to get to the unit. Carrying heavy luggage could be problematic. The golf cart was a plus for getting down the hill into town, though we did walk it a few times. Lots to do on the island. My favorite was the falconry!

3 day getaway

Lovely location.the unit was lovely a few things need normal maintenance. I will send the owner a list separately in case he doesn’t get over often. The AC is important to my husband and isn’t that well insulated. The owner sent a worker over to help wth that on the first day. The golf cart is great for getting around the island and the Vons. We used the bbq twice. Lovely beach/cove on the property. The sunrise is great from the balcony.

Great getaway

Condo was very nice and clean, had beautiful views , the entire complex looked like something from Greece,the bathroom had entrances from bedroom and living room which was good if there’s more than 2 people staying, There’s not a sofa bed in living room , it’s like a full size futon, there’s an air mattress and an expandable thin cushion to sleep in. I would of preferred a sofa bed tho. it is not walking distance to the town center we used the golf cart to go back and forth and when we arrived at the island we got a taxi to take us to the condo. If you use the golf cart very early in the morning, take some towels because the seats are going to be wet from the mist, there was a lot of fog the came from the ocean to the island you can see it from the balcony. Vons grocery store is close to the Main Street where all the shops and restaurants are at. FYI, restaurants are very expensive, get ready to pay unless you share. I found out the day I was leaving that the pool was heated. very grateful to Rich that offered a golf cart, but it sounded like it was time for an upgrade, we didn’t go to the top of the mountains for some panaramic pics because we weren’t sure if the cart was going to make it going so high up and we didn’t want it to stall on us. Overall it was a very nice getaway!

Best Value in Hamilton Cove

This one bedroom (KING) was clearly one of the earlier units built (1971 to 1988 construction timeline for the development) yet displays an architectural design that was ahead of its time. It wears its age gracefully and the owner has priced it realistically to be one of the best bargains on the island. Like the unit, the golf cart is a vintage work of art (2007 Yamaha) that shows its age, but it was a “best friend” and highly reliable for us. Renters need to know there are 56 steps from street to front door, something we wanted as part of our daily exercise plan. The kitchen has every modern convenience you might need with updated large and small appliances. There is ample dishware and glasses for any need from morning coffee to evening cocktails or wine. Though we ate out each night during the JazzFest, one could easily cook and stay in here. The owner has a portable A/C unit which we never needed in mid-October. The TV is a modern Roku and the unit provides cable channel access to local, major news and sports programs in addition to streaming capabilities. We found this a cut above what we usually see in most rentals. WiFi signal is easy to access with good speed (50-70 mbps) and good 5G signal on our phones via Verizon. Master bedroom had a great (soft) mattress—we left the door open at night to hear the ocean waves. Finally, the views from the back (shared view) are timeless and memorable. We'd rent this unit again in a heartbeat.
