The local church bells add such a lovely, traditional touch to the stay. We also spent some time at The White Lion pub, which we’d definitely recommend to other travelers. "As I was only staying 2 nights the room was fine but any longer and I'd have asked to change room, as very noisy overlooking main road. One of the security cables on window had been cut, so window could be opened wide! I was in a room with twin beds….only one had clean bed linen on. Bit disappointed with starkness of the room but not bad for price."
