「We were a couple traveling from the United States, both in our later 50s. We ended up not staying in the room. After having to bring our four suitcases up two flights of stairs, our room was incredibly hot. When we opened the windows to try to cool things off, we were met by several flies and other insects. 「The accommodations were great and we made use of the available bbq for a great dinner cooked right outside our cabin.
The farm animals were a hit with our girls and provided lots of entertainment.
Our questions were promptly answered and the hosts were readily available.

「We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay.」
