Auld Brig

Unfortunately there were several issues with our junior suite room. The shower worked intermittently, approximately 8 seconds on, 5 seconds off. Very annoying. The TV in the "sitting room" didn't work, negating the point of having the extra space for the weekend. The USB chargers on one side of the bed didn't work. The biggest issue was the creaking floor. Given how loud it was when people in neighbouring rooms moved around, it made it uncomfortable when you wanted to go to the loo in your own room because you were worried about waking everyone up. The bar area was pleasant, but the lighting was so low in the restaurant you could barley see what was on your plate. We have had great experience with Malmaison previously, but wouldn't stay in this one again unfortunately.
