The host ghosted us
Before leaving for the airport the host hadn't sent check-in details so we tried calling her with no response. We contacted Bookaback who tried to do the same - no response. We landed at Auckland airport and had nowhere to go. After hours on the phone to Bookabach sitting in the airport, I got a notification the host had cancelled - no explanation and with only 2 hours until check-in. I had to book new accommodation at an extra cost and we couldn't find an appropriate place for the same two nights. Not to mention hours wasted sitting in the airport for an already short weekend visit. I wouldn't trust this host.

Review
The kitchen could be better with salt and pepper. More kitchen towels. We had just one for 6 days. Paper towels, a regular coffee machine. More sitting chairs i. The living room and air conditioning in The bedrooms.

Great view!
That view!! Breathtaking and well worth the nightly investment. The property manager was very welcoming, fast to reply via email and very patient with us. Bathroom and bedrooms were clean. Kitchen fully stocked.

Okay stay in CBD
Location is good - central to ferries, Viaduct, etc. Building and surrounding areas are still under construction. Apartment had a great view of the harbor. Living room sparsely furnished and hard to hang out with the group. Bedrooms were fine, but could use some cleaning/painting.
