The rooms and amenities are not top-notch anymore, but everything is functional and the staff was utmost friendly and helpful. A refrigerator in the room and an electric kettle on loan from the reception were an additional advantage. Especially the location was perfect! If I ever go to Riga again, I would love to stay in the same area. The only problem was the absence of the elevator, while trying to climb up (with or without a luggage) on the 6th floor. For a hotel on a budget it was excellent value for money. If I were to return I would definitely stay here. The entrance was very welcoming, and although our room was a little dated it was perfect and clean for our stay. There was water in the room, soap in the bathroom and a hairdryer available too.
