This hotel totally exceeded our expectations. We were hesitant to book here, based on the brand, but the location fit our itinerary. The quality for the price was excellent! The furnishings in the room were new and the shower was the best of any hotel during our cross country trip!

What a great little place to stop. Staff were very friendly. Rooms are clean. Walk to food and convenience stores. Nice little swingset and old school metal spinner my son loved and a game room with pinball machine that only takes a quarter to play. It was a perfect stop for our little family.

This is a very clean, simple motel that has been kept updated. Amenities are barebones with only soap, no shampoos, hair dryer, etc but very reasonably priced and friendly staff. We have stayed here numerous times as we have family in the area. This time our room had new flooring, new vanity and sink, and a great tub/shower. It’s a well maintained facility.

We booked day of. Had looked at places around DesMoines but ridiculously expensive for a Thursday. Booked through Expedia, no issues. Called ahead to let them know we'd be arriving late, she said no problem. Pictures and reviews online gave us hope this Motel 6 would not be like the old one in our town. It wad clean & recently remodeled. Staff really friendly (and it was really late and then really early - same staff!). Room had everything we needed for sleep & shower. Air was on & ran well. Large fridge. Great water pressure. Comfortable bed. Would stay there again & avoid Des Moines. Very close to McDonald's & gas to get us back on the road. **There were guests that let their doors slam so that was noisy, but not hotels fault. No other noise from guests.

Although they are now a nonsmoking facility my wife and I didn't mind. They've recently renovated and have improved accommodations. The pool is no longer there but they replaced it with a few games and TV'S and a pool table. The staff there, especially the front desk people are out of this world !!!!!!!!! They are also, most assuredly, a very pet friendly business and our dog loved it as well.

Friendly staff. Room was clean, except for they could do a better job of cleaning underneath the toilet seat. It is a nicely redone older hotel. I would say it’s a working man’s hotel. Guest rise early and with it being an older hotel, you can hear the people move around on the floor above you. The next time I book I would probably book on the top floor. No elevator.
