The apartment was large, modern and attractive. There was plenty of comfortable seating (unusual for self catering accommodation) and the beds were also fine. It was in a quiet residential location, within easy walking distance of most archaeological sites, the Metro, food shops and restaurants.
There was a great view of the Acropolis from the terrace, especially at night.
However, the fact that the only fully-equipped shower (there was no bath) was in the en-suite bathroom attached to one of the bedrooms was inconvenient for us, and would have been impossible had our party (one couple and one single) been larger.
Anybody wanting to do much cooking could have problems, as the kitchen was poorly equipped even by self catering standards (no toaster, for example).
Please note that there are only two bedrooms, not as stated. This was what we wanted, but again a larger group might have privacy problems.
We suggest that the owner puts a banister or rail on the small staircase between the floors, as they are a little slippery and awkward.
These faults are the reason we have not awarded five stars. Nevertheless, we liked the apartment and enjoyed staying in it. We would certainly stay there again if we visited Athens in the future.
