The Athens Tiare Hotel is in an area of Athens that is going through a resurgence -- that is good. It is not there yet, but the hotel will make a positive impact. Service and the quality of the hotel were excellent.

This property is in a central, busy location. It is well-designed. It has good security. Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We were on a low floor and the road noise was noticeable, but the fan setting on the HVAC was sufficient to drown it out. Our room was spacious, attractive, and the layout was unique. Also, walkable to many key locations.

This hotel has a very convenient location, with a metro entrance being right outside the doors and plenty of restaurants options within walking distance! The staff was friendly and the restaurant came in handy multiple times when I’d get back from a long day exploring. The restaurant also has breakfast in the mornings, with a variety of food, and has such a nice view of the square! The room was a good size and had a minimalist look. Overall, my stay was pleasant, but I didn’t notice some stray hairs in the room that were not mine, which was a bit off-putting.
