Getting Around
How to reach the property:
By Plane:
Perugia Airport is just a 10-minute drive from Assisi and offers flights to London Stansted, with car rental services available at the airport.
Alternatively, you can fly into Ancona (1 hour 40 minutes by car) or Pescara , which are both well-connected to highways leading to Assisi.
Flights are also available to Bologna and Rome, with Pisa offering another option, though it is not significantly closer than Rome. If flying into Pisa or Florence, consider combining your trip with visits to these cities.
By Car:
Italian highways ( autostrade ) require toll payments. From Rome, take the A1 north. From Florence, follow the A1 and exit at Perugia (after the Arezzo exit). Follow the E75 past Lake Trasimeno to Perugia, then head toward Assisi.
From Rome, take the A1 to Orte, then exit toward Perugia and Terni. Follow the E45 toward Todi and continue to the Assisi exit.
Note: Highways are less crowded on weekends, as trucks are not allowed on Saturdays and Sundays, though traffic may increase in major cities on Saturdays.
Reaching the Property from Assisi
The property is located in Località Paradiso , about 7.5 km from Assisi, a 10-minute drive. From Assisi, take the road skirting the historic center and follow signs for Gualdo Tadino . This route passes through Piazza Matteotti and exits Assisi via the arched stone gateway, Porta Perlici .
Follow the road to Gualdo Tadino ( SS 444 ). About 4.3 km after leaving Assisi, you'll reach Ponte Grande , where you'll find two bars: Giovannino on the left and Moro de Ronca on the right. Turn left before Ristorante da Giovannino toward Località Ponte Grande . Continue for 2 km, then head straight toward Località Paradiso until you see the sign PARADISO 26 on the right.
Take this dirt country road, staying to the left for about 600 meters, until you reach a large gate, the entrance to the private estate. The gate is often left open for arrivals, allowing you to park directly in front of the property. If the gate is closed, simply call us or ring one of the buzzers, and we’ll be happy to let you in and welcome you to the estate.
