This place is an absolute dump. It smells like urine and is filthy. No one was staying there, and we cancelled our reservation after seeing and smelling the place. Avoid at all costs!

We were met in the parking lot by someone checking out stating they had a bag of peanuts and found a rodent eating them. No TV ( they had been down for 2 days), the pool was already shut down. Everything was either worn or dirty in the lobby along with the lobby bathroom. Didn’t even wait to bother looking at the room. My husband sent me to our truck to start looking for a room some place else while he spoke with the front desk.

The hotel is very old. Rust around the bathroom door frame. There are holes in the shower where previous shower curtain rods were. There were 2 lights not working. The Direct TV kept freezing. But the worst were the mice that came out from behind the dresser at about 10:30 pm. I brought up the issues at check out and they are aware there is a mouse problem! No offer to discount my stay or even completely refund. The place needs torn down. It’s only redeemable quality is that it seemed the custodial staff cleaned as well as could be given the condition of the room.

Great place to stay. Staff went out of there way to help a family to get into their car because the doors lock with the key in it. That's great to see this. ( Don't know the guy's name but he worked the night shift on 05/30/26) That's taking the extra time to helping out.

In general, I would say it was clean, safe, and comfortable for a night on the road. The breakfast was very basic but adequate. No yogurt or even a hard-boiled egg. I do prefer some protein, but at least the waffles were tasty.

My husband and I visit this area often and always book this particular hotel. We’ve never had an issue until this last time. Someone was beating/hammering/jumping until 5:30 in the morning, right over our heads and I have pics of some pretty bad bites on my leg (that I will add) that look identical to bed bug bites. I’m not saying I’m 100% sure what the bites are, but I think we may have to make a change of stay for next trip.
