    The Space:

    Boasting a prime West Asheville location near the Haywood Corridor and the River Arts District, a chic retreat for the ultimate downtown getaway awaits at this spacious condo. Enjoy fresh coffee at the bistro table for two on the private balcony. Head out on foot to discover a host of local eateries, boutique shops, cultural venues, and nighttime entertainment options. Or hop in the car to explore nearby outdoor activities and adventures, including hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, rafting, tubing, kayaking, ziplining, and skiing. Head just one mile to explore the galleries, museums, and boutiques in the River Arts District. Or continue into the heart of downtown Asheville for more cuisine and culture. For a historical outing, visit the opulent Biltmore Estate three miles away. Find gorgeous views and outdoor adventure at Chimney Rock State Park and Lake Lure, 30 miles away. Unwind into vacation mode on the sofa bed and two armchairs in the living area. In the evening, stream your favorite shows on the 65' smart TV. Prepare delicious meals in the sleek kitchen, equipped with a French-door refrigerator and a full suite of stainless steel appliances. When it's time to eat, gather at the bar. Find ultimate comfort in the large bedroom, complete with a 55' smart TV. The en suite bathroom comes stocked with a complimentary starter supply of toiletries and bath amenities. Amenities include complimentary WiFi, a washer/dryer, and assigned parking for one car directly in front of the home. Additional street parking may be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
    Things to Know
  • Streaming services are available with guests' own accounts.
  • Elevators are not available.
  • All leases require a minimum 31-day term.
  • Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
  • Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
  • All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.
  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
  • No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
  • All properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.

The perfect location. Barbershop downstairs and Owl Bakery 5 steps away. So many great spots to go. Condo is exactly as advertised and clean.

Great Haywood Retreat

The location cannot be better! Owl Bakery one step away along with Archetype Brewing and Pizza Mind. So walkable! Hole Donuts…Flora…don’t hardly need a car. The place is well furnished with everything needed for a nice long stay. Clean and safe!

Fall Family Fun Trip

This property served our family well. We try to get all 5 siblings together each year in the Fall and there was plenty of space for everyone. I fell most in love with the fireplace which was just perfect. We played games, grilled, read books, watched movies and visited Brevard. Can’t say enough about the place and I hope we can reutrn.

Lovely home

This home exceeded our expectations. Very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the upstairs playroom. it was nice to sit on the back porch enjoying a cup of coffee looking at the scenery. The surrounding area is very nice. The towns are very peaceful and very friendly people live there. We truly enjoyed our stay in Transylvania county

I am from Fl and my daughter is from Md so we chose this house to meet in the middle to vacation. The house was everything we needed . It was well stocked and had plenty of comfortable beds and plenty of towels. The view is amazing and the porch was the best hang out place for us. I love that it has only one TV as it made for great game nights with the family. It felt very peaceful there yet close enough to town for shopping . The falls are beautiful and the fishing was great, not to mention the tubbing . Checking in and out was a breeze and the management quickly answered any questions I had . We are already talking about when we will return! Highly recommend this place!

Perfect Family Getaway with Stunning Views at Merrywoode

We recently stayed at Merrywoode with a group of 17, including kids and a dog, for a family vacation, and it was absolutely perfect. The views from the cabin are simply breathtaking. Despite there being no AC, the crosswinds kept us cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed to cook for our large group. I even brought my own huge pot, but it turns out they already had one just like it! The daybed and hammock on the porch, overlooking the amazing view, were definite highlights. We spent countless hours relaxing there. The location is fantastic, with plenty of hiking and beautiful sights to explore nearby. Merrywoode provided the perfect setting for a memorable family vacation, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended!

Sweet condo

Our stay in West Asheville was excellent! The condo was exactly as pictured, very clean upon arrival and in a great location; spacious, beautifully appointed and quiet. We loved that we could walk to restaurants, breweries, shopping and the River Arts District. We were on the move for 14 days straight between hiking and exploring...the location turned out to be perfect. Would highly recommend!

What a fantastic place. The king sized bed mattress was incredibly comfortable, the huge Samsung TV`s and super fast internet were hassle-free and easy to use. Clean, quiet and centrally located.

We enjoyed the property, despite the proximity to the street, the bedroom is located at the back with no noise level. Great access to the arts district and downtown Asheville. There is also a nice park on the river front close by.

Spacious, modern condo

We really enjoyed our stay here. Two days were just my boyfriend and I, and then my mom, cousin and 1 year old joined the next two. We all agreed we didn't feel cramped even when we were all there. The master is huge and the ceilings are high. The pull out was super comfortable, the king size bed was amazing. Walking distance to tons in West Asheville. My only suggestion would be to provide coffee for the coffee maker!
