Wer also viel Tourismus und Rummel sucht ist hier falsch. Aber Erholung, Ruhe, Natur und der nächtliche Sternenhimmel sind garantiert. Alle wichtigen Geschäfte sind im Umkreis von 10km. Equipped for social gatherings, with ample gardens the mill is situated in beautiful countryside. If you want easy access to the bustle of town and city life, it's not for you. Significant road noise in main bedrooms but sofa beds in quiet air conditioned living room. Very spacious house and garden. Owner was very attentive. "We all enjoyed our stay at the Les Tramois. The cottage is really charming and is set in a beautiful location. There are horses, a donkey, peacocks, fish, hens… Our children loved interacting with the animals, jumping into a huge paddling pool as well as doing archery and bouncing on a trampoline. Lots to do for the young! There is a nice woody walk and a well equipped charcoal bbq. Fabien is a wonderful unobtrusive but very helpful host. Thank you for having us!"

"Warm cosy and comfortable property with 'character' and in a good location for visiting Vézelay and area. Renovated and modernised inside to a good standard, with pleasant outdoor seating areas. Bring your own teapot if you need one! A useful bread van comes 3 times a week with baguettes. Nearest village shops (in St Père) are about a 10 minute drive. Neither our 'school' French nor the owners' English was good so the booking process via the web site emails wasn't easy. The whole booking process...

"We loved our time at Champallement which is a very pretty village in beautiful countryside. Our host was extremely helpful prior to arrival and the house is just as described in the listing. Comfortable beds, high quality dishwasher and washing machine, a good garden for us and our dogs (though a determined dog could escape quite easily). Kitchen was well equipped but small for more than one person. Very good shower. Fantastic dog walks all around and lakes for swimming just 15 minutes away...

"This house is a true gem and it was hard to leave. The location is perfect (just steps away from local shops), the house is breezy and cool, rooms spacious and clean, view from the house sublime, garden a perfect place to play (there are a lot of games for children), and the hosts were a dream.
