We were just about to leave Dos Palmas in Honda Bay on this morning when I noticed the beautiful way the sun reflected off of the water in front of the Banca. I had to drop my bags and get the camera out so I could capture this moment.

Dos Palmas Island Resort & Spa. On a private 20-hectare island in Honda Bay, this refined resort is accessible only by ferry, and is approximately 15 km from the town of Puerto Princesa on the mainland. Modern beachfront villas feature terraces or verandas, as well as free Wi-Fi and minibars. Upgraded villas have living rooms with flat-screen TVs and DVD players. Breakfast and welcome drinks are free, and there's a tropical restaurant and a bar. Other amenities consist of a kids' playground, an infinity pool and a hot tub, plus a spa. Activities include water sports, diving and volleyball, as well as tennis, biking and basketball. There's also a mangrove trail.
