The property is beautiful but it was very dirty, we booked for 3 nights at a very high rate but we could not even spend one night there due to the spiders And cob webs everywhere. We communicated with the host but all he got was an insect repellent, which we used but there was still so many spiders and so many cob webs around that we could not comfortably stay there, even two hours in the house reeked of repellant and spiders the size of my palm were crawling everywhere. It was very uncomfortable. We informed the host of the issue but he said the last guests never complained and did nothing to help other than the repellent. We were on our honey money aswell but ended up leaving the at night to find somewhere clean to sleep. We came back the next day hoping he cleaned but he didn’t so we left . I informed him the condition of the house was unbearable but he just got angry. Fortunately it was the only place we stayed in in Italy that was this dirty so we overcame it. You would think for the price he would hire a professional cleaning service . I do not recommend this place only because of the lack of cleanlines and the hosts refusal to remedy the situation. I have a feeling he made it non refundable so he doesn’t have to try to try hard to make it clean.
