「We had an excellent week at Il Querciolo. It is an ideal location for a base to explore Tuscany with Arezzo, Siena and Florence all within easy reach. If you prefer quieter smaller towns, there are plenty to choose from, such as Cortona, Monte San Savino, Gargonza, Lucignano, Castiglion Fiorentino - all close by. Cesare and family were amazing hosts and provided a warm welcome and plenty of suggestions of places to visit. They also produce some amazing wine, which you have to try when you stay....

「Our host was very attentive and lovely. She invited us to a very nice evening wine party on-site aside of a small lake. It was quite charming. It was also nice to see the vineyards and olive trees. One downside was no A/C as advertised, but we had fans. Still very quaint.」

「Wir waren zwei Nächte in der Unterkunft. Haus, Pool und Umgebung sind wunderschön. Die Vermieter, ein liebenswertes älteres Ehepaar wohnt nicht dort. Schade, die Bar wäre für einen Wein am Pool oder eine italienische Brotzeit bestimmt der Renner gewesen. Räume waren sauber, die Küche ist überholungsbedürftig - aber es hat ins Dolce Vita alles genauso reingepasst. Abends kam mal eben eine Rotte Wildschweine über den Hof gelaufen. Toller Ausgangspunkt für einen Ausflug nach Pisa, Florenz oder...

「Beautiful place to relax and enjoy the Chianti area. One of the best breakfast we’ve ever had in Italy. The wine tasting experience was fun and we highly recommend it. The Osteria was great with excellent traditional food. All the staff were great. The pools were fab, although the further one was closed when we tried it. We’d gladly go back to visit again」
