"Charming mountain hide away, lovingly decorated throughout. Views are amazing and a nice pool for those chilled out days. The best welcome you could ever get, very friendly, helpful hosts. Fresh breakfast prepared daily by Linsey, which tasted delicious. Don't ever pass up on her sourdough! You will not be disappointed should you visit, Cant recommend it enough."

"Great location easy check in. Rooms anre a little dated but Every thing you need is there Only thing that we noticed was the overpowering air freshener which was in communal area as well as in the room but noticed the walk in wardrobe had damp on the ceiling so I’m guessing it was to maybe mask the smell "

"Casa Hermosa was more beautiful and relaxing than we could have imagined. Nearly everywhere on the property, you can see breathtaking views of the ocean and mountains that overlook the charming town. Our room was cozy and private, and the shared spaces on the property were very accomodating. We were able to walk to the beaches and local restaurants during the day, and take a short car ride to Malaga to go out at night. It was the perfect ending to my partner and I's visit to Spain-- I can't...

"La habitación era preciosa, con unas vistas magníficas. Un lugar con paz y buena energía. Todo bastante bien equipado, aunque el baño fuera de la habitación y abierto a las demás personas que pasan era un poco incómodo y poco privado. Por otro lado, la sauna fue una maravilla. Otra cosa a tener en cuenta es que en el anuncio pone que hay bañera de hidromasaje y no es así. También se ofrece servicio de masaje pero la persona que hace los masajes no trabajaba esos días. El lugar estaba muy bien...

"We liked the ouside area, the room was nice and cosy. Nice that you provided Sun shade umbrellas
We live the fresh fruits at breakfast. Coffee good, nice to have fresh drinking water. The smell of a spray or something to perfum the air was horrible for my lungs (asthma) that is not necessary!"

Palacio Solecio, a Small Luxury Hotel of the World
8/10 Good
"All the staff are friendly, helpful and articulate—really excellent. The hotel is well located in the Old Town, and the building itself is impressive, particularly the central, full-height dining room with its beautiful lamps, discreet climate controls, exposed brickwork and marble features.
The main disappointment for our stay was breakfast. The staff seemed overstretched, resulting in long delays with the coffee which on one occasion arrived at the very end of breakfast, and similarly with ordered cooked food.
The room was good, although on the small side. It was quiet, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was finished in marble and very well appointed. Sadly, the bedroom window was so high that it was impossible to see out without standing on something, which was a shame because there was a lovely view over the church opposite and the Old Town.
The swimming pool was not really a pool; it was more of a splash facility. Even diagonally, it took only six or seven strokes to swim the distance. This was disappointing, although there was a nearby beach where we could swim instead so it was not a problem.
A good stay, appreciated the location and the staff. The breakfast was good but required patience and the room was adequate to good (quiet and comfortable) but not overwhelming."
"Room is cleaned everyday, breakfast is wonderful, staffs are very friendly. However, location of the hotel is not very convenient, it will take 20 minutes walk to the major attractions, shopping district and some nice restaurants. In general, we have had a nice stay."
"Its in a great location with just a 3 minute walk to the Picasso Museum and surrounding restaurants. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, providing a guided tour and a 24 hour desk service. The room itself was perfect for lone travelling and I felt very safe. The shared areas were also great, especially offering free coffee and tea!
I would recommend staying here and I will absolutely stay again"
"Definitely a great place to stay! Location is great, close to everything without being in the center of the action! Playa just 100 mts away. Bike option is good too! Great staff and always willing to help! I appreciate my stay and would stay again!!"
"Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. The location is excellent, the staff was friendly and welcoming at check-in, and the room was lovel, the bathtub, in particular, was fantastic.
A quick tip for future guests: the AC controls are integrated directly into the bedside headboard, which can be tricky to spot at first.
My only frustration came after checkout. At arrival, the staff mentioned I was receiving an upgrade. When I entered the room, there was a bottle of champagne on ice, which naturally seemed like part of that upgrade. However, a couple of days after checking out, an unexpected charge appeared on my card, which I assume was for the bottle. Be mindful of in-room items even if an upgrade is offered, but otherwise, it's a solid hotel."
