"We stayed for 2 weeks, whilst the rest of the country had a heat wave, we had a couple of nice days and the rest was misty and windy. However, the house exceeded our expectations being warm, comfortable and had everything you could need - really high quality furnishings etc. Fantastic views from the house and the patio area and walks from the doorstep. The Outer Hebrides were better than we imagined. I definitely recommend the hike around the island of Scalpay which you can do right from the house, including a visit to the lighthouse, a definite highlight. The most magnificent beaches are only a short drive away. I hope we can return! And when we do, we will definitely stay here. "
