A wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Garni on the rock. The room was spotless, breakfast was excellent and the kids loved the bouldering room, games, slackline in the garden and the hot tub. The location was excellent, easily walkable to the castle, pool, climbing and some excellent restaurants. Above all the service was simply fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were very attentive to our needs. Highly recommended and we will be back!

The staff here is so friendly and helpful. We had an extra person and they got us another bed for the room. The breakfast was the best of our trip complete with a machine that cranks out fresh orange juice! Love it! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Garni on the Rock. The breakfast buffet was amazing and Paulo was always kind and helpful with anything we needed.

Great Hotel, needs better directions to get in

Hotel is amazing. Modern. Helpful staff, well equipped. Only down side is : If you have a large car getting to the hotel parking is difficult; if you have a small car you can, but directions in the area could be a bit better as you briefly have to enter the city center.

tolles hotel mit sehr guten Service

zentrale gelegenes Hotel in ruhiger Lage (in Arco) mit sehr guten Service und tollem Frühstück wir haben das Hotel für unsere Tagestouren genutzt (5 Übernachtungen) und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Spa (gegen Aufpreis), Whirpool, Kletterwand etc haben wir nicht genutzt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilft bei Restaurant-Empfehlungen, Reservierungen, Tipps für Touren etc Das Frühstück ist topp und soweit ich es mitbekommen habe, konnte jeder der Angestellten fließend deutsch (wenn man es brauch) Ich würde hier ohne Bedenken wieder Urlaub machen und hatte das Hotel auch von einem Freund empfohlen bekommen.

Awesome hotel

The place is very clean, I couldn't find the main gate at night and the receptionist came out to help me arrange all the parking and guide me the facilities. Room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is health and food is fresh. I would say it is the best hotel I have had in Italy.

friendly staff, comfortable room

The staff is incredibly friendly and the hotel is conveniently located in the village of Arco. We enjoyed the comfortable room, rock climbing wall and fresh breakfast.

Spektakulär, direkt unter dem Felsen von Arco gelegenes Hotel. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, gutes Frühstück und angenehme Zimmer. Die Zimmer sind etwas karg eingerichtet, aber das ist sicherlich Geschmackssache. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Neues Hotel in optimaler Lage

Das Hotel befindet sich direkt am Beginn der Fußgängerzone von Arco. Insbesondere für Kletterer und Radfahrer ist das Hotel wirklich sehr gut geeignet (eigene Boulderwand im Hotel und ein abschließbarer Abstellkeller für Räder mit Montageständer und Kompressor). Die Radwege Richtung Torbole und Trient liegen fast neben dem Hotel und sind in wenigen Metern mit dem Rad erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Frühstück ist auch sehr umfangreich (Obstbuffet, diverse Müslis, Wurst und Käseauswahl). Parken kann man auf dem sehr großen öffentlichen Parkplatz etwa 100 Meter vom Hotel entfernt (mit Parkkarten vom Hotel), es gibt aber auch Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor dem Hotel, sofern man sich durch die sehr enge Auffahrt traut. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und stets bemüht einem den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten.

Modernes Hotel mit tollemTeam!

Super nettes Team! Frühstück toll und vielfältig, wird ständig aufgefüllt, immer mit frischem Obst! Täglich wurde eine Liste mit Aktivitäten (z.B. Märkte, Ausstellungen in der Region) ausgelegt. Für Wanderer und Bergsteiger perfekt. Wir hatten das Familienzimmer (4 Erw.) und fanden es etwas klein, eine Tür zwischen den Räumen wäre vielleicht ganz gut (Schiebetür?!). Im Bad könnte ein Regal unter dem Spiegel helfen seine Utensilien abzulegen. Im Großen und Ganzen waren wir aber sehr zufrieden! Vielen Dank an das liebe Team! Tipp: Uns hat fürs Abendessen das Restaurant al fiume und die Pizzeria Spaghetteria sehr gut gefallen!

gemütlich und modern

wir waren 5 Tage im Hotel Garni on the Rock, und waren sehr zufrieden. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. die Zimmer sind sauber und von der Größe her ausreichend . Im Bad war es machmal etwas eng aber nicht zu eng. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und bei gutem Wetter kann man gemütlich auf der Dachterasse essen.Es gibt eine weitere Terasse mit einem kleinen Whirlpool direkt unter dem Berg.Die Lage ist direkt am Anfang der Fußgängerzone und bietet gute Parkmöglichkeiten. Zum Gardasee fahren Busse , die Haltestelle ist nicht weit. Mann fährt ca 10 min nach Riva del Garda. der Wasserfall Varone ist ca 15 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Arco selbst ist eher ein Ort für Kletterer, MountenBiker und Wanderer. P.S. schöne Grüße an die Nachbarskatzen =;-)

Other similiar better hotels in area.

Although many things were irritating about my stay I do have to admit the breakfast was fantastic! I did however, book this hotel to enjoy the spa but never saw on the booking the spa costs 50 Euros. Even when I asked about it when checking in there was no mention it was 50 Euros. Just when I tried to use it the next day they pointed out that fine detail of 50 Euros and you must schedule 1 hour in advance. Of course you can say the language difference mix up the communication but this seemed to happen on a lot of different items during my stay. I've stayed in Arco & Riva del Garda at least 5 times this year and in different hotels and the spa was always included in the booking price so took me by surprise. Also, be careful as small print says you can't check in after 9pm. I didn't notice this and my flight got in at 9pm so I didn't arrive until after 11pm. They called me at 9pm and did accommodate me which was nice. Parking is across the street in a large parking community lot so can be difficult to find a parking space at times. The first night they gave me 2 euros to pay the meter until they had enough passes returned for me to put in the car. So this required my having to get up early enough to go put money in the meter. Nice to give me the coins but irritating for sure. No wifi in the room which I didn't notice when booking. No English TV channels and was told when the weather is bad (which it wasn't) the reception is not good for those channels.

Sehr schönes Hotem in Arco

Empfehlenswertes Hotel in Arcos Altstadt mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Tolles Frühstück und schöner kleiner Garten mit Jacuzzi tragen ebenfalls zu einen angenehmen Aufenthalt bei. Wir würden wiederkommen!
