An idyllic retreat for solo adventurers or a duo seeking refuge. Situated splendidly for escapades in Arcata, with the local Redwood Park as your immediate neighbor. Embark on wondrous journeys to nearby Regional and National Redwood Parks. And, of course, Cal Poly Humboldt is literally 1 block away. Redwoods, Gardens, Distant Bay and warm Sunset Views. 5 blocks to downtown too. Now with Solar Panels on roof for an Eco-Friendly stay - Aahhh :) Enjoy

Custom bungalow built to embrace the wonderful Redwoods and Humboldt Feel, done with elegance. This fun bungalow has another home on the property but it is a separate building.

Excellent for walking, biking, hiking and easy driving with very little traffic

I live in town and manage this property. You will have my phone number and I am available to help you out with anything I can :)

Quiet, final property on dead end street that borders walking & biking trails right into the Arcata Redwood Community Forest. Very short walk to HSU, including the basketball stadium, and also a nice walk to downtown Arcata for Saturday Farmer`s Market fun, cafes, restaurants, music events, bookstores, and much, much more!!! You have your own Detached Bungalow and neighbors are close by.

On foot, biking, driving, buses, ubers: whatever you prefer

We have strong (`very fast` per speed test), broadband wi-fi internet for you. Good for video calls, streaming, etc. Typical speeds of 54 Mbps Download and 24 Mbps Upload. Nightly rate includes the 10% Arcata City Bed Tax. If you would like to use the EV Charger, please let us know. We would switch parking spots with you so you are close to the charger. We ask that you pay $1 per 10 miles of charge to help offset the cost. Please pay via airbnb at the end of your stay.

This property was perfect for my wife and my 5 year anniversary. We enjoyed that it was tucked away enough but also close enough..backs up to the Arcata Forest, and has a view of the bay.

Cozy, Well-Appointed, Great Location

This little place was perfect for my wife and me while visiting our daughter at Cal Poly. Not only is it right next to campus, but the Arcata forest trails are literally right out the front door. The unit was great too. It looked to be recently remodeled, and everything was very well done. Very cozy. I'll be checking to see if this place is available when we come to visit again.

Lovely home in a beautiful setting

We really enjoyed our stay here in the trillium bungalow! It is a very sweet place, comfortably furnished and very cozy. Best of all, the setting was ideal given we were visiting Northern California to experience the beautiful redwood forests. We were at the end of a tiny quiet street literally steps from a huge community forest of redwood trees with lots of trails to enjoy! Between the beautiful gardens and the forest, we couldn’t be happier!!! It was also very easy to get to town to shop and dine. Very conveniently located. We would love to stay here again in the future.

We enjoyed the proximity to the university campus and City. Can walk to many places easily. The place was nestled in a complex of homes with very friendly human and dog neighbors. Lovely kitchen and bathroom. Everything you need is here.

Comfortable stay near everything in Arcata

Clean and comfortable place conveniently located next to the park and near town. New inside with a stove that heats the whole place to a cozy temp. The large bathroom was had beautiful tile and wood, but the deep bathtub would maybe be harder to get into for people with mobility issues. The bedroom was great, except for the fan in the closet. It was very dusty so I couldn't use it. I typically sleep with a fan, but based on yhe dust layer it seems like none of the other guests were using it. The pictures on the listing don't show the whole angle of the back deck, so it's good to know that there are neighbors close by who can see onto the deck and into the kitchen if you leave the blinds open. I visited in November, and it worked out great to do everything around Humboldt county. The driveway/parking is a little tight so larger vehicles might have trouble turning around and maneuvering. Overall clean and comfortable, quiet area, walking distance to the park.

Like living in Redwood Park

Trillium is aptly named as it is located next to the huge Redwood forest park in Arcata, with trillium everywhere--and further, is practically on the Cal Poly Humboldt campus. The cottage is larger than the photos indicated, nicely designed and decorated. We enjoyed the quiet, no through traffic, could walk anywhere in town, all told a very enjoyable stay.

A lovely cottage on the edge of the woods

This is an lovely and quiet cottage on the edge of the Arcata Community Forest. You can walk out your door and just go for a hike. The cottage was well stocked with kitchen ware. The bathroom was lovely. And the bed was among the most comfortable I've slept in when away. This is a fabulous find. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
