The property is tastefully decorated and spacious it’s well equipped. I personally loved the peace listening to the waves at night, drinking coffee outside watching the sun coming up, long walks on the beach with the dogs. There is a small cafe across the road from the property. Arbroath about 6 miles away so shop before you arrive. A perfect getaway property...

"Middle stay of a 3 week vacation through Ireland and Scotland. By far our best stay so far and going to be hard to beat. Excellent all the way around. Our room was outstanding, our dinner and breakfast the best yet! Caoimhe, our waitress at dinner made our entire trip worth it. She has exemplified everything we have come to appreciate about Scotland. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and offered the best suggestions for seeing Scotland at its finest. Would recommend this place to anyone traveling through Scotland, stay at least 3 days here! "

"Lovely characteristic hotel with very professional staff. A quiet get away for those needing it to relax and recoup. A bit expensive considering there was no pool, hot tub or sauna & steam facilities but the hotel it's self is absolutely beautiful. "

"We were told, as we had ordered breakfast, that the chef was unwell and was not able to work. So Bruce rang me and asked what we would like for breakfast, that he was unable to do a cooked one, but what else could he do for us. so he provided cereal, yoghurt and fruit and gluten free toast as well as the usual bread, juice, tea and coffee and porridge. He seemed to be on his own and worked very hard. The service and his professional attitude was much appreciated."
