Important: Snow access: In winter, the Solleggstrasse is periodically cleared of snow up to the turning and parking area above the holiday home. All-wheel drive or snow chains are necessary. The access road (60m) to the holiday home is not cleared Important!!! In stormy weather it is possible that the road is impassable again shortly after the snow has been cleared and the 1.7 km to the house must be covered on foot. You would then have to park in the village of Appenzell and take the public transport (Publicar) to the Eischen campsite.
