Quiet, Peaceful, and good fishing
My son and I came to specifically fish the entire time we were here. We certainly got our fill. The large pond was clear, and fishing was steadily good. We caught a lot of 1 pounders but my son caught his biggest bass ever, a 4 pounder. The time we were in the cabin, it was great. It's a small cabin but comfortable, clean, and actually feels bigger inside. We will be back.

Rest and Relaxation
Real country setting. No traffic noise. Frogs, in pond at night took a little getting to. Other than that, didn't take long, it was a great stay. Watching the wildlife is an added bonus. Definite ly would Recommend.

Disappointing
Let me start with a positive by saying we enjoyed very much the outside part of our stay. The pond was peaceful and the time spent on the porch was very relaxing. But, the cabin itself was something different. It wasn't very clean with leftover food and condiments in the fridge and freezer from previous guests. The stove had grease and food particles on it. The grill outside wasn't cleaned and had tinfoil with leftover food particles on it. The tap water had a foul stench to it the entire time we spent there. Because of that, we didn't shower and limited our washing of dishes. I know this sounds like I'm just ranting, but these are areas that need addressing in order to make the potential stay of someone else's time there better. I'll close with this, a positive, the tranquility of nature that we saw and the time we spent outside watching and listening to the storms pass, watching our dog play in the pond, the birds and other animals do their thing made our trip enjoyable.

We loved fishing a riding the boats around the pond. Beautiful setting and the cabin was perfect for our family. Our dogs were welcome on the property, which was very nice. It’s a rural setting, so come prepared.

Return trip
We have stayed at the Indian and Cowboy cabins three times previously. The cabins are rustic and are ideally and conveniently situated right next to a large pond/small lake which is great for catch and release fishing. We caught many fish and some of the bass were really good sized. Nice, relaxing trip

Enjoyed a little get away.
We enjoyed our stay. We just wanted a change of scenery, and this did it! We caught a few small bass, tried out my newly acquired kayak and did the trail with my hiking dog. Easy, clear trail around the lakes. Happy our dogs were welcome! We used the gas grill, not the kitchen but seemed to have everything for simple meals. Provided coffee, sugar, etc. We had our own. Furnishings were comfortable. The bed was soft but that's from someone who sleeps on a brick so just a personal preference. Maybe some new pillows would be nice. Porch was our fave spot especially after the rain came in and cooled it off. Town not far if you need anything. Pretty little spot!
