"Our family of 6 adults stayed at Villa Mari Aurelia Dec 4-7 on our way from Florence to Milan. Christina and her son, Elia, were fantastic hosts. Communication before and during our visit was prompt and very helpful. We took advantage of their recommendation to visit Monte Isola, a 5 min walk and ferry ride from the house. This was a highlight of our short stay. This was a lovely home and would be an amazing place to stay in the summer months with the pool and summer activities. Everything was brand new and just as described in the pictures. Special thanks to Elia, who was a fantastic interpreter with Christina and her husband. They were so helpful when we had an unexpected flat tire just as we were leaving the villa. Their quick assistance helping to replace with the spare tire allowed us to get on the road quickly so we did not miss our train in Milan. They went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable with dinner and shopping recommendations in Iseo. A day trip to Verona was also special with the Christmas markets. We look forward to returning so we can experience summer in the area, and will definitely stay longer next time! Thank you Christina and family!!"
