Views over the Moreno Valley to Baldy Mountain fill the wall of windows in this two-level home high above the Angel Fire golf course. Tatanka Blanca sleeps 6 in three bedrooms and two baths, welcomes up to two dogs, and is a mile's walk to the Cougar Trailhead and 3.1 miles from the ski area.
A short flight of exterior stairs leads to the entrance. The main level opens into a great room with a double-height ceiling, a wood-burning stone fireplace, and a Samsung smart TV with seating for 5. The fully equipped kitchen has a gas range and dishwasher, with counter seating for 3, and the dining table seats 6. The second and third bedrooms are also on the main level, each with a queen bed, along with a full bathroom with a shower-tub combo and a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer.
The upper level has a loft sitting area with seating for 5 that overlooks the great room. The primary suite has a king bed, a private deck facing the ridge, and an en suite primary bathroom with a shower-tub combo.
The wraparound deck opens from both the great room and the dining area and looks out over pine and aspen to the Moreno Valley. Deer and wild turkeys often pass through. A gas grill sits on the covered porch.
Pack and plays and high chairs can be requested for an additional fee, subject to availability.
The Cougar Trailhead is just over a mile's walk from the house. Angel Fire Resort's ski base area is an 11-minute drive, and the Angel Fire Country Club is 8 minutes away.

INDOOR LIVING: Wood-burning stone fireplace, Samsung smart TV. Full-size washer and dryer on the main level. Central heating. This property is not air-conditioned.
OUTDOOR LIVING: Wraparound deck with seating, covered porch with gas grill, private deck off the primary suite.
GENERAL: Wi-Fi, linens and towels, hair dryers, hangers, kitchen starter pack, soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided. Pack and plays and high chairs can be requested for an additional fee, subject to availability.
LOCATION: 11 minutes' drive (3.1 miles) from the ski base area, 8 minutes' drive (2.5 miles) from the Angel Fire Country Club, just over a mile's walk to the Cougar Trailhead.
PARKING: Driveway parking for up to 4 vehicles. The garage is not available to guests.
POOL AND FITNESS: Not on-site. The indoor pool and fitness center at the Angel Fire Country Club, 2.5 miles away, are open to guests for a daily, weekly, or monthly fee.
The indoor pool, hot tub, and fitness center at the Lodge at Angel Fire Resort are reserved for Lodge and Eagle Wing Suites guests and are not included with this home.

WHAT TO KNOW:
This property is managed by Angel Fire Resort Vacation Rentals, 10 Miller Lane, Angel Fire, NM.
Check-in is available after 4 p.m. at the front desk of the Lodge at Angel Fire Resort. Please return keys and fobs to the front desk by 10 a.m. at check-out.
This home has a front-door camera and exterior wildlife cameras. There are no cameras inside the home.
Because Angel Fire does not have residential trash pickup, guests must take trash to the Recycling Center. A map to the Recycling Center is in the guestbook. Please do not leave trash outside, as wildlife will open the bags. A Trash Removal option is available for $100.00, and we will remove all bagged trash from the property after check-out. If trash is left in the property, a $300.00 Trash Removal Penalty will be charged to the reservation.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere at this property, including decks and patios.
Tatanka Blanca is a designated pet-friendly home. Up to two dogs are welcome for a $125.00 pet fee.
A 4WD or AWD vehicle, or chains, is required to reach this home during the winter months (November–March). If you are not used to winter driving, please be prepared for difficult conditions and use caution.
