This is a great place to stay. It has two comfortable beds with air con in the bedrooms only, a reasonable kitchen, large fridge and pleasant lounge. Do however, note that the photo of the wall in the listing is there for a good reason. Even though the place is right on the sea front, the view you get is of the wall. There is a flat patio (with view of the wall) but the garden had a big hole in it with a precarious route to some steps down to the sea. There are some great and wonderful beaches only a short walk away, however, there is no beach at the property.

Miguel is a good host. Even though there was a mixup with double booking the cabin, he managed to fix it. He responds quickly to my questions and helped us with the car rental. Cabin is rustic but comfortable for our Feb visit. Air conditioning is only in the bedrooms but there are 2 fans in the living room.

Brigader Area Special!

We loved our stay and the property manager Chantelle was excellent. Everything worked and was well kept up to date. The area had access to the beach, a restaurant and a store. The best thing about Andros is the people! We felt safe and supported in all areas. While not the most fancy of places it had an updated bathroom, a nice size living room and kitchen with comfortable size bedrooms and the only thing that would have made it nicer was comfortable outside chairs and no wall construction! This place for the cost is a winner!

Davis creek #3

Only drawback was the ceiling fans didn’t work in the bathroom and the living room. The front door locked but the French doors did not but that’s not an issue because the people in Andros are all honest and friendly people. Nice community in Davis Creek

A Lovely Week on Andros

The property is well-maintained and easy to find. It gets fantastic sea breezes, which keep the cottage feeling fresh and cool throughout the day. Both bedrooms have heat pumps, which made for comfortable sleeping even on warmer nights.The beach right outside is beautiful, and once the stairs and seawall are repaired, access will be even better. During our stay, we just had to take a short walk around a neighboring property to reach the beach, which wasn’t a problem at all.Just a heads-up: the listing mentions in-cabin laundry, but it’s actually located at a nearby laundromat. That said, all the essentials (wifi, tv, fridge, kettle, microwave, and stove) were in great working condition. The shower also had strong water pressure, which was a nice bonus.Overall I would recommend this as a place to relax and unwind.
