I came here to visit my daughter in South Carolina and Anderson and a hotel. I read there was a lot of bad reviews, but I didn’t have one bad experience. Everything was wonderful. The stuff was nice. The food was awesome for breakfast and I had an awesome time. I just wanted to say thank you

The outside of the building doesn't look as nice as some of the surrounding hotels, so we were worried. It was clean, the building just did not look as nice. Once we got inside, it was very clean and very nice. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was very clean. It would have been nice to have more soap, shampoo and conditioner but there was a sign that you only had to ask for it. I would definitely stay at this location again.

Charging people for if they take breakfast to enjoy in the privacy of their room is ridiculous. Then upon leaving the cleaning staff had the isle blocked. So i moved said cart out of the way and the cleaning staff was over heard by the guests behind me cussing about me moving the cart. Totally unprofessional.

Not impressed
The hotel looked nice and renovated on the inside and out, but once we got in the room and pulled down the covers on the bed there was a huge ball of hair. The front desk guy was by himself and swamped so he gave us sheets to change the bed ourselves! The kids couldn’t use the indoor pool that was supposed to be heated because it was freezing cold. The AC in the room was shotty and would only work with the fan on manual setting. We won’t be back.

Property was in a great location, and overall, we had nice stay. The only negative is that because the hotel is open in the middle, the sound carried and it was extremely noisy until well after 10pm.

The bedding had not been changed and had hair on the sheets. It was late and there was an extra sheet in the closet so we stripped the bed and used the flat sheet. The room seemed clean but the bed was absolutely not clean.

This was to say the least the most unsanitary hotel my family and I have ever stayed. The first room smelled like something died in it, so we moved to another room. That room the sheets and the curtains were disgusting. I wanted to leave but the lady said since we booked with a 3rd party there was nothing she could do. We had the worst night sleep ever, the food the next morning we were honestly scared to eat it. I took a picture of a lemon that they left in the lemon water that was molded. I told the from desk and to my demise it was still there the very next morning. I don’t know what else to say, but I’m in disgust

Lack of comfort
Cleanliness was average or below average. The issue with this stay was the noise, in a room with suite joining doors, the neighbor was up till after 2am being very loud. In this situation, no additional rooms were available and moving was not an option. So in the middle of the night, we had to leave and find lodging elsewhere. Booking through third party like hotels.com is a hassle if you end up having to leave the hotel. No refunds are given from hotel companies if you dont book direct. It’s not unreasonable to expect to have a decent nights sleep, you are paying for that comfort first and foremost. Will not be staying at comfort suites in the future.

When we arrived, we had to give a $200 deposit which was not advertised. The lady at the front desk was extremely rude regarding the deposit. My husband and I decided to check the room before bringing items inside. We found a giant hole in the wall, blood on the curtains and stained blood on the mattress. We took photos and brought those to the front desk immediately. She claims those had not been reported previously. The next morning our room had a terrible odor, so I asked housekeeping about the odor. She informed me the odor was due to marijuana smoked in a room down from us days prior to our arrival. I decided I should talk with the General Manager regarding the odor because I didn't not want to my damage deposit to not be refunded due to someone else. The GM was very rude and tried to intimidate me. He told me the odor was a new cleaning solution being used, that was untrue. When we talked about the damaged room, he told me the stain was BBQ sauce not blood also untrue. Then he told me he might not decide to refund my deposit due to me confronting him. I have not received my refund for my deposit, and it has been a week today. If I do not receive my refund on the deposit, I will contact a lawyer. I have photos that prove we did not cause any damages. We also could not use the pool because the water was dirty and looked like algae was forming around the pool walls. It was a terrible experience I will never return.

Thanks for your review on your recent stay. We are very sorry if of think that the staff and manager was being rude to you. In regards to deposit it is stated at the front desk also so the registration tablet. The front office did offer to cancel the reservation free of charge for you. We are aware that you did not cause any damage in room and you was never charged for damages. The sauce on the curtains have been address with ownership group. Also our pool wall and bottom is the color of green.

The fact that check out is at 9:00 a.m. and check in isn't until 3:00 p.m. We had to wait until 4:00 because our room wasn't ready. Getting six hours. 10:00 would be more reasonable.

Good stay for one night. Mostly new hotel, so it was as clean as expected except for a for things. Id recommend this place for any stay

A great rest in Anderson
A comfortable stay in town with a yummy continental breakfast. We weren't able to use the indoor pool while we were there but it looked nice. Staff were all very friendly and the space was quiet and amenities were in good condition.
