Spacious & comfy 2BR apartment on ground level, near airport & shopping

This roomy apartment is located in West Anchorage, only a few minutes from the airport, and is one of four units in the building. The unit is on the main level and offers easy access.
We can comfortably accommodate solo travelers, couples, or a small family.
The apartment is about 1,200 sqft, has two bedrooms, a large bathroom, kitchen w/dining area, living room, and a little private deck and fenced-in backyard.
The Master is set up with a King size bed with a new Nectrar Hybrid memory foam mattress and bedroom #2 is set up with a queen bed and a memory foam mattress.
The kitchen is equipped with the basic cooking essentials (Keurig coffee maker, pots n pans, toaster, dishes and much more), and the range, fridge and dishwasher are stainless steel and have been updated.
Washer and dryer are in the apartment - at no extra charge and parking is also free. There is a large, uncovered, designated parking area that can accommodate almost any size of the vehicle.
We offer free hi-speed Wi-Fi and free basic TV streaming with Hulu and Netflix.

Your host owns pets and your pets are welcome too. However, pets must be pre-approved upon booking. We'll send you our pet policy upon booking to enure this apartment is a good fit for you.

West Anchorage is not only close to Lake Hood and Ted Stevens International Airport but there is also plenty of shopping nearby.

For outdoor enthusiasts, Kincaid park is just a short drive away and has designated walking and biking trails. In the winter it's all about cross-country skiing.
The Chugach mountains offer mountain biking and hiking for every level and several trailheads are within 15 miles or less.

Your host has extensive hotel management experience and brings knowledge and skills to the table to ensure you feel home away from home. Our goal is to provide a welcoming and hospital environment for all guests - including the furry ones, so you can focus on more important things - enjoying Alaska.

Perfect for our Anchorage Stay

This apartment was perfect for our stay in Anchorage. It was exceptionally clean, the beds were comfortable and it was well equipped with everything we needed (didn’t find a toaster) and then some. It more than checked our ‘big’ boxes. In addition to cleanliness, good beds and a well equipped kitchen, the unit was in a good location for us near Kincaid Park, and it was easy to get to downtown Anchorage. Sylvia is an excellent and responsive host.Some additional nice features were good nightlights everywhere (especially usefully with 18 hours of darkness outside), washer and dryer and nice art on the walls.I would suggest two chairs:It would be nice to have a comfortable chair in the living room. The couch is large and comfortable, but for two people who don’t watch a lot of tv, it would have been nice to sit facing each other at times. Also, a chair in the bedroom would be good. All in all, we are delighted that we found this place and if we come to Anchorage again, I’d want to stay here.

Silvia’s place has everything you’d need, it’s comfortable, and it’s in a nice location that’s pretty close to everything in town. We had an extended stay while waiting to move into our new house, and I don’t think we would have been as comfortable anywhere else! Silvia is such a great host, she’s thoughtful and helpful, and communication was quick. Everything was comfortable and you can tell Silvia has thought ahead and prepared little extra touches that go a long way…like blankets for the couch, plenty of dresser storage for clothes, kitchen supplies, even a water bowl for pets. Beds were so comfortable, the little yard was perfect for our dogs…we’d absolutely stay here again/recommend it to visiting friends and family!

Alaska Sept 2022

Very clean, updated, many amenities, great communication with owner who lives on site so available if needed. We were four middle aged adults on self-guided visit to Alaska with two having lived there previously. We stayed three nights, two full days in lower unit. Our only meals were breakfast as we were out and about during the day. Kitchen well appointed for cooking. Beds very comfortable. Bedrooms seemed very quiet even tho located next to each other and little sound transference from upstairs unit. Strong pro is location - ten or less minutes from airport. Personal transportation is necessary or use of paid transportation as this location is not within walking distance of any amenities…at least not comfortably. Lots of closet space. Very dog friendly with dog bed available in main living area. New model front load washer and dryer in unit. Our stay was not long enough nor weather conducive for use of outdoor space. It looked adequate for light outdoor grilling and enjoying small backyard space. Highly recommmend.

Everything we needed!

Silvia was an excellent communicator and we enjoyed working with her. The property was immaculate and comfortable. The bed was especially comfy and the bath towels were some of nicest I’ve ever seen. My husband uses a C-PAP and needed distilled water, which she kindly provided. Due to the proximity of the property to the airport, and easy access to restaurants, parks, and other sights of Anchorage, we found this the perfect place to begin our Alaskan adventure.

Beds were very comfortable!

The apartment itself was very clean. It provided all the things you need, such as laundry, dishwasher, dish, handsoap, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, toliet paper... really anything you can think of! That has definitely not been the same in the past so i am thankful! The couch was incredibly comfortable and the back yard was wonderful! I really don't have enough nice things to say about the host. She went above and beyond to make sure we were well informed, welcomed, and had everything we needed. I've stayed at a lot of vrbo rentals, highly recommend

Great space, easy access, great location!

Very comfortable stay!

We had such a wonderful stay! The apartment is centrally located (~15 min drive to downtown and close to Kincaid Park), well-stocked, and very spacious. I stayed here with 3 people total and we were very comfortable. Silvia was a very kind and communicative host. Highly recommend!

Wonderful surprise

What a wonderful surprise to find such a nice comfortable place to stay. Everything was spotless with a well equipped kitchen. We traveled to Anchorage for a K9Nosework Trial and we were impressed with all the dog amenities; bowls, beds and a nice fenced backyard. We would certainly stay here again. Thank you

Beautiful and clean

This worked perfectly for our family of 5 traveling with 2 dogs. Spacious bedrooms had plenty of room to set up super comfy air mattress (available on site) for one of the kiddos. Sofa bed in living room comfortable for teen. Very thoughtfully furnished and stocked with things travelers might need, even dog beds and dishes for furry friends. Clean and comfortable, easy access. Convenient fenced area for pets, quiet neighborhood. Friendly helpful host. Would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable

The property was easily accessible on the first floor, under a covered porch, just a few feet from the car. The private residence had a security door and entryway. The residential neighborhood was quiet, and it felt very safe and relaxed. The host was able to get the apt. ready and let us check in an hour early and out an hour later as well, which made my daughter's day, as she could shower after her hockey games. It was great to have our own bedrooms as well as the living room. One bedroom was much larger and had tons of open floor space and large closets. The Manager lives on-sight, right across the hall, so there would be no problem with unwanted disturbances, and anything urgent would be handled immediately. The apartment was clean and nicely furnished with comfortable couch and beds. The kitchen was adequately stocked, but we really utilized the cordless hot water pot. I would definitely stay here again, especially if our event is in the area.
