If your travels bring you to this beautiful state then this apartment will compliment any traveler! The state's beauty is right beyond the large picture window that gives sight to one of the city's favorite trail systems - Campbell Creek Trail. Each guest has the opportunity to walk this scenic trail. The apartment is custom with unique features some of which bring the ambience of the Alaskan wilderness inside. The main room houses a sofa, TV, & dining table. Attached to this room is your bathroom and down the hall is the kitchen. The kitchen boasts a gas range and full size refrigerator for all your foodie needs. Wrapping around the corner from the kitchen is a small & cozy bedroom with a comfortable queen bed. One fun amenity to this space is your own personal washer and dryer while traveling away from home. *Please message me if you are looking for longer stay discounts during the off season (Sept - Apr)*

Great location in quiet area. Well equipped apartment. Near Campbell creek trail - paved trail for walk/run/bike etc. close to main tourist attractions. Helpful and responsive host.

Property worked for us. Need a rental car to get around. Kinda a quirky place in the basement of a residential home. The kitchen needs more utensils. You have to crawl in the bed from the end, as the bed is wall to wall.

Nice alternative to a hotel
The property was very spacious and almost felt like home. Huge living room to relax or watch TV in your down time. Having a kitchen was nice, though I didn't use it all that much. The bedroom is tucked away in the corner which helps you get to sleep on Alaskan summer nights. The property manager was very nice and communicative, and even had a note waiting for me when I arrived. This is a little far away from downtown or Spenard, so have a rental car if you can. If not, there's a bus stop right outside the neighborhood. Nice densely wooded area gives the impression of a cabin in the woods with trails nearby. Overall a great place to stay, way better than a hotel, IMO.

Pretty nice and well located place for a couple to stay
I'll start by saying that this rental worked out pretty well for us and the price was good. The other reviews seemed accurate. The reason I only gave 4 stars is to indicate that there are a few things that made it less than a 5 star location for us. One was the fact that the layout took a bit of getting used to. The other was that the TV didn't really work so we couldn't really relax and watch the TV like we sometimes like to do. The layout has a sequence of windowless rooms connected to the living room you enter from outside that had all the windows. Off the living room is a bathroom connected to a kitchen and then to the bedroom around two corners and up 4 steps. The bed filled the width of the room. You had to crawl in and out of bed from the foot of the bed. The only "closet" space were some hangers under a high shelf in the bedroom. It was hard to navigate from the bedroom to bathroom at night because it was quite dark (good for sleeping, not walking). We found we could leave the light over the washer and dryer on at night to create a bit of light around the corners even in the bedroom that made finding our way ok. One thing we wished was having a TV that worked. That might get fixed but we couldn't get the TV to work much at all. It didn't have an antenna or cable connection so all you could do is stream things over WIFI. The universal remote couldn't do a lot. We used our laptop and Netflix for entertainment. A lot was good just not quite 5 star for us.

Great location in Anchorage
Great location in walking/biking trail. Also short walk to many retail stores and restaurants. Parking easy, and quiet at night. Large living comfortable area. Host was kind to leave coffee and snacks, especially for our late arrival.

This property was spacious and beautiful. It is easy to find and the host was great to work with. Its a home away from home. Plus having a kitchen and laundry on site was fantastic. If we are ever in the area again we will be booking another stay.

A unique little set up
You're going to feel right at home in this cozy, uniquely laid out and generously stocked amenities that weren't listed. Basically, you only need to bring your toothbrush and toothpaste. There's a blowdryer too! I'd recommend using the space heater to get some kind of heat circulating in the back. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and being boxed in by the walls was actually very comforting. And a bedroom without windows in Alaska 👍 Best sleep I've gotten during an Alaskan summer so far! Will definitely come back again.

Super clean, had everything I needed, safe neighborhood and very close to beautiful Campbell Creek trail which I used to walk to my daughter's house. The bed is flush with the walls in the bedroom, you can't walk around it. I crawled in from the bottom of the bed which was not a problem for me at age 66 but could be a problem for some. Bed was comfy.
