A Cozy Cottage In South Addition, Right Next To Downtown Anchorage

An 800 square foot cottage in Anchorage's South Addition, just south of downtown. Within walking distance of a bakery, grocery store, tennis courts, the Conoco/Phillips building, the 5th Avenue Mall, the Anchorage Museum, and other attractions. The house has a small yard and, a deck with a grill for outdoor dining, Also included are a small office, laundry facilities, and kitchen equipped with many of the conveniences of home.

Cedar Alley has always worked to provide the cleanest vacation rental possible. Our normal cleaning routine has included stripping the beds down to the bedbug -proof mattress cover and washing all of the items - mattress pad to blankets. In addition, we have steam-cleaned the mattress covers, pillows, upholstered furniture, area rugs, etc. Hard surfaces like counters, tile, flooring, cabinets, door knobs, etc. have been cleaned with a solution of vinegar and water, and commercial cleaners. During this time of increased concern about the possible transmission of viruses we have added the use of bleach solution on these hard surfaces.

Cozy and well stocked

Location was as described. It is small but is well stocked with items and the hosts took extra care to have items on hand for us. Location is good -- can walk to downtown.

Our stay at Cedar Alley was amazing! Pam and Lee thought of everything! The kitchen is so well stocked, and the breakfast supplies were so helpful after 12 hours of travel the day prior. There were fresh baked cookies and candy bowls that were a treat too. The cottage is so sweetly decorated and is very comfortable. Pam definitely goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and special. She offered great recommendations for places to eat and shop that were spot on.

Our family loved staying at Pam and Lee’s beautiful and cozy home. The home is extremely well equipped and they had plenty of additional touches including cookies waiting for you when you arrive. Lee even suggested where we could spot a moose and sure enough, there it was with its calf. If I’m ever back in Anchorage, I will make sure to stay with them again. Excellent.

Great Spot in South Addition!

We loved our stay in Cozy Cottage! So many personalized touches in the home-it was like visiting family. We even got a call from our host Lee letting us know where we could see a moose! Our only wish was that we had more time to enjoy and explore Anchorage. Wonderful hosts made this a great stay!

We had a wonderful time staying in your rental. Everything was so clean and well organized. All the little extras made our stay so much more comfortable. The location was very quiet and the outdoor patio was great for reading and enjoying the sun!

The property owners take pride in their rental house. There is everything imaginable you will need. Everything was very clean and very well stocked with items you may of forgot. Great location. This place will be our stay when we are in Anchorage.

Great property great location

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything you think you might need or need, is provided. Pam and Lee stocked the fridge for us, so getting in late the night before, we had breakfast foods, fresh homemade bread, and COFFEE, ready the next morning. great location, getting to down town is easy by car or uber, or if you are a good walker, probably about a mile or so to downtown, very safe neighborhood. We will definitely stary there again.

Great location

We spent 3 days in Anchorage and Cedar Alley was the perfect location. We walked to downtown restaurants and found it easy to leave town to go hiking and visit the area. Pamela and Lee are very generous hosts. They worked with us to stock the kitchen before our arrival. The house itself was great for the two of us.

Quaint cottage with everything you need for your stay.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this cottage very well stocked. The owners, who live right across the alley, are very generous (well stocked fridge and fresh baked banana bread for our arrival), friendly, knowledgable about the area, and responsive. Lots of flowers. Nice little patio/deck. Good location, quiet at night, with downtown in walking distance. Thank you!

Very nice property managers, close enough to downtown to walk, but quite neighborhood that didn't keep you up at night. Very nice home for a short stay. Had everything you would need plus all the extras you never think about. If we come back again I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place

Cannot say enough about this place! Lee and Pamela made our travel so easy. While I was there for work, we were able to add a couple extra days and this place was just like home with all the amenities we needed. It sure makes things simple when you do not have to go buy all the basics. The warm welcome and kindness is so appreciated and we will definitely look to stay there again. Great hospitality, perfect location, and delicious homemade cookies!

They’re not kidding when they say it is right next to downtown Anchorage. It is in a very convenient location. It is a very cozy cottage in a very quiet location, perfect for coming back to after a busy day trip and sightseeing. The Hosts were perfect making sure that you were provided with every little thing. They even gave us a gift card to their local bakery where we treated ourselves to a sandwich and delicious raspberry/lemon tart. It was so sad when we had to leave.

Pamela and Lee's cottage ups the ante for vrbo rentals in Anchorage. This place has everything you would want and many extras as well. We loved the location between downtown and midtown on a quiet residential street. Pamela and Lee provided a gift card for the bakery around the corner and patiently explained to us Luddites how all the electronic gadgets in the house worked. Cedar Alley cottage will be our first choice on our next trip to Anchorage

Perfection!

The house was the perfect place for our stay in Anchorage. The house was so comfortable, cozy and welcoming. It was clean and had provided everything we needed for a week stay. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials and staples. The patio was the perfect place to wind down after a busy day. We were so appreciative of the coffee and welcoming snacks. Our hosts were incredible! They accommodated our schedule and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Highly recommend staying at Cedar Ally. We would love to stay again.
